It almost seems like they shut the production line down to do something.... That is why i was wondering if anyone has been having the same experience

They just shipped some to UAE and South Korea. CT is going international at the moment. Higher margins.

No kidding. For example, customers in the United Arab Emirates are currently paying 454,990 AED for Cyberbeasts, plus another 28,100 AED for FSD. That's equivalent to about $131,500 at current exchange rates. And it gets even better for Tesla, because they are not giving UAE buyers any of the other Luxe Package goodies, like Free Lifetime Supercharging or Premium Service or Premium Connectivity.

I certainly don't blame American customers for being frustrated with the low domestic inventory and delivery delays. But at the same time, I can see why Tesla might be prioritizing international orders.

Where are you getting these estimate windows? Is it shown on your Cybertruck page in the app? Is it from a Tesla employee?

My app still shows nothing as an estimate and messaging with Tesla through the app today they told me they don’t know anything about where I am in the queue until there’s an estimated date.

Hopefully something changes and all these estimates end up being way overestimated. Very strange that the estimated window on the order page isn’t being updated. Seems at this point they know that estimate isn’t right due to whatever details they aren’t telling us.

Oh wow, what is your configuration?

I ordered an AWD with under body armor on 13 January. I guess I am in for quite the wait...

I wonder if they are doing a huge batch of overseas vehicles or tweaking something on the assembly line or vehicle.

Can they not do both?
In theory, yes. Tesla has not revealed exact Cybertruck production capacity, but it's more than 125,000 per year. In 2025, they manufactured around 22,000. So there is plenty of capacity.

The problem is that most of that capacity was probably mothballed during the second half of last year, when production numbers fell. Tesla could restore production capacity, but they won't do that until they see evidence of a sustained uptick in demand. That is unlikely to happen in 2026. Even with the new international markets, the vast majority of CT sales are in the US, and US sales are expected to fall from 2025 to 2026, due to the loss of the $7,500 tax credit.

South Korea is not a big pickup market. UAE, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia are not big EV markets (for some reason, gas is cheap in the Middle East). So the current spike in international sales is likely to be short-term. But obviously the timing is unfortunate for Americans who are looking at inventory or waiting for orders now.

The Tesla online inventory system is currently showing zero Cybertrucks available in California. It's never been like that before.

I order my second beast on 11-15-2025. I have a 2024 foundation beast my wife is now driving - and it's also now pink o_O. My thought was I wanted to get the 2026 but wanted it at the end of 2025. I placed the order and was shown that it would be 3-5 weeks to get it... perfect! I got a message stating the delivery window would be 12/12 -12/31. Knowing how Tesla likes to get as much pushed out by year end I would certainly get it. NOPE, on Dec 17 when i asked about an update, they told me 1/30 - 3/27 and then last week they told me Feb 3 - March 17. This seems weird as they aren't selling a lot of them and I keep checking to see if any are in inventory locally and never see anything be 2025 demo's which I DO NOT want.

Anyone else experiencing this or am I an outlier? The only thing weird about my order is I also ordered the Terrestrial Armor Package on it.
I’m curious- I have a 2024 AWD. What are the differences, if any, in the 2026?

Perfected the dry bed
2024-2025 front and rear of bed leaks a bit
My 2025 was ā€œfixedā€, still see a little, but waiting for the warmer weather
then installing
Front two backer sizes 1/4,1/8,1/4
Rear with larger backer, size TBD
Otherwise the 2025 is perfect

CT in 2026?

Tesla is very secretive about updates up until the release date.

My spidy senses tell me that Tesla is updating the Cybertruck battery cell behind the scenes. It’s been reported that Tesla will introduce 4 new battery cells in 2026. This is pure speculation of course.

Itā€˜s funny how CT inventory has flipped In the last 12 months. Last year they had tons of CT’s collecting dust at SC’s around the country and now AWD trims are scarce as hens teeth.
