How much did the screen lower after you installed this product?

About 1/2 to a full inch. It was off putting at first, but I got used to the new height in a few days. You can compensate for the height loss by angling it back up.

you do get to see more of the led strip if you sit high with the lowered profile

These companies are paying people through PayPal and other means after “users” post positive social media posts. They do not send “free” products without some knowledge beforehand that positive social media posts are likely.

It is impossible to be “picky” about any product a priori, that is, beforehand.

Members of this forum are tired of “reviews” of products that are not all-encompassing. Many people have purchased items based on “recommendations” only to find things such as (1) difficulty installations with short cables on tilt screens, (2) items causing error codes on their Cybertruck; or (3) items not functioning as represented with blank screens or intermittent faults relating to temperature.

What is more, in dealing with many of these companies the buyer finds out after the fact that return shipping even for faulty products is at the buyers’ cost and that shipping something overseas is prohibitively expensive. Or the “company” ghosts the return by simply never acknowledging that it was sent to them.

Caveat emptor.

I also had no idea any of this was happening… do your research before you buy from any company! So far I’ve found a good one with Hansshow!

Once a company comes out with a product that does not sit low I'll purchase.. Just looks odd sitting so low
