Hey All,
Wanted to install some sort of flag pole holder in the bed to fly my American flag on holidays. Couldn't find anything specifically for the Cybertruck, but found a mount that works with the L-Track. For $40 and a little modification, works great. It mounts solid, and can be left installed without any impact to the tonneau cover, bed outlets, etc.

And these are the bolts I used to mount the flagpole holder to the L-Track:

I had to elongate the holes on the flag pole mount to match the spacing on the L-Track. Took about 10 minutes with a round file:

And, due to the angle of the bed wall, I mounted the bolts, using the square washer and the supplied nut, then mounted the flag pole mount on top of those nuts, and used a second set of nuts to secure the flagpole mount to the L-Track bolts. This provides enough offset so the mount in vertical and the flag pole can be installed with the bottom of the bed floor.

Someone will surely improve on my design, but this works!

Good but u need to keep to tonneau open. Check out badflag.com. More expensive but ………….. I don’t think it’s an issue if you bought a cybertruck ???

Trailer Hitch Flag Holder. For 1, 2, or 3 flags. Some even support using large deck umbrellas. Amazon lists many types, most under $30.

Probably not an option for those with wraps. Strong suction cups on top of a wrap sounds like a recipe for wrap disaster to me.

If you have a wrap I’d look into hitch mount poles if you want to close the tonneau cover while flying a flag.

For those keeping the raw steel alloy look of the exterior though this looks quick, strong, and simple. Thanks for posting.

Cheers

Thanks for this. I bought these items because of this post and working great. I initially skimmed the post and missed the part about elongating the holes but it was easy enough with a decent file as you mentioned.
