Fingers crossed, I'm not touching it until tomorrow morning, made sure to unplug everything and turn sentry mode off (luckily in a safe area) I will update here tomorrow.
Update, front motor is still disabled. Will update again after service with whatever they end up doing. Wish me luck on this roadtrip home today

I had the same front motor disabled message popping up after SC at the end of a roadtrip. It didn't go away this morning although I had sentry mode on.

After the first session of SC today, the message persisted. Immediately after, I drove to a coffee shop nearby. After coming back to the car, the message disappeared and both motors seem to be working fine.

Service center said it would most likely be a week while they work to replace the inverter. I pushed back a little asking why this may be happening to so many and the advisor did not want to expand further. Gave me a loaner model y at least. Now I just have to worry about my truck sitting out in a lot all week.

This happened to me as well. I was on a road trip last Friday, finished driving ~200 miles and was on the way to a supercharger before my last destination of the day. I remember thinking the whine of my front motor was much louder than I've ever heard it before. No alert at that point though. I did about a 30 minute charge and received the alert as I was pulling out from the charger. I drove it the few miles that way to my destination, then tried the two finger reboot which didn't fix it, so I scheduled an appointment through the app. Next morning when I came out, the alert was gone and the truck has driven fine ever since. We did one more ~10 minute supercharging session on the way home. Zero issues with our truck until now other than the loose foam defect with the tires when we first picked it up.

I'm still keeping the service appointment just in case. It is scheduled for for Friday 04/18.

Truck is on version 2025.8.6 and VIN is 1317 (we were in the first group to get them in Florida).

Did your tire give you a strange vibration above 40mph to about 50 and then start again at 65+?
I think my scorpion tire has the loose foam too

Close to that, yes. I documented it all here:

https://www.cybertruckownersclub.co...k-repair-since-02-24-24-fixed-07-23-24.16618/

Worst part honestly was the service center throughout it all. And being one of the first owners, there wasn't a lot of data on what could be causing the issue. So a simple "repair" took months to resolve. :(

Alright, front inverter was replaced under warranty. Service center had it for 4 days and so far everything is back to normal. I would recommend to anyone about to go on a roadtrip to supercharge before you go (like a week before you go) just to see if this happens to you.

Just for some more insight, I have a 2024 AWD Non-FS Vin 55xxx and the failure occurred at 1,600 miles.

Also, if you are in Cleveland, OH the short drive down to the Akron service center is well worth it.

I dropped my truck off at the service center yesterday. Even though the alert hasn't returned (granted, I've only used a supercharger once since the alert had gone away), they confirmed my front motor needed to be replaced. Fortunately, the service center had a Cybertruck as a loaner. They asked me not to take this one out off road mudding after seeing how dirty my truck was from all the times I've taken it through the local trails, lol.

Just a little correction please accept it in the spirit that it is intended which is to help because a lot of people confuse this.

There are two things going on with your vehicle firmware version and FSD version.

13.2.8 is the version of FSD that you’re on. Your firmware will begin with a year. I, for example, am on 2025.8.7.

Keeping these straight will help provide clarity because at any given time either one of them could be causing a problem.

People on different versions of the firmware may be on the exact same FSD version.

Hope this is helpful.

Well. I can do you one better. Last Wednesday before a longer than usual trip. I went to SC at a 350 kw charger. I noticed the charger would not charge above 90kw. Even though I was the only person there. There were 13 stalls available.
I decided to go to another SC. As I didn't want to wait the time charging at 90kw.
Once I unplugged I noticed the Turtle limp mode indicator and the front motor disabled notification. I proceeded to the next SC. The truck began charging at 250 kw to about 85%. Limp mode never went away. I scheduled a service visit. Was pleasently surprised I was given same day or next day appt. I drove for a day with this issue. Only downside was lack of acceleration.
I got a loaner CT from the service center.
Note My CT has 31,500 miles.
The loaner has 7,100 miles.

Yesterday after leaving an event. I decided to charge the loaner fully at the same 350kw charger. It charger at 250 kw. But then Immediately after charging the same turtle popped up in the screen of the loaner CT. So I have experienced this twice With 2 different Foundation series trucks. This is Within a 1 week time frame. So I'm seeing some sort of a trend and issue charging too long or at the the 350 kw SC. I've owned my CT for 1 year. Got it last April. I have SC'd more times than I can count and I have never had an issue like this. It's concerning that this issue happened with a CT at 7k miles. And 31k There must be an issue with the invertor during prolonged charging sessions. Hopefully this gets me a new front motor under warranty. Just hoping if the rear Motor fails it happens under warranty. Wish you all the best of luck with yours. I'll update you of what happens when I send back the loaner.

Our repairs are complete. Took about 7 days in total, mostly because of the usual service center issues (not having parts in stock and not having enough staff).

Repairs were:

- Confirmed front motor disabled alert. Issue was caused by front inverter failing its self-test multiple times, necessitating its replacement.

- During an attempt to vacuum fill the cooling system after replacing the front drive inverter, it was found that there was a leak coming from the rear of the vehicle from the RDU supply hose. Removed hose to check condition of o-ring inside of female quick connect fitting to find thta it was OK. Small burr on metal male fitting on drive inverter was found. After removing burr and reseating hose, the system was able to hold pressure and vacuum fill properly.

- Inspected the flat flex cable as per the service bulletin and verified the need to reroute it.
