Got the DI_a138 code thrown right after charging yesterday, didn't seem to noticeably affect driving home being the lessor motor on a AWD. Searching this forum for DI_a138 nothing came up; is this one of the typical motor failures we're seeing or something else?

I had the same thing last week though only appeared once and has not recurred. Have appt this week for them to look at it. No noticeable change.

There is no Cybertruck that isnt a AWD yet; true. But in general they are the Beast or the AWD. Anyway, I setup an appointment and we'll see what they say. Think the error code is cleared this morning.

I should add, running 2025.8.6.

Well, shit! There goes my largely problem free record. Was just charging so that I could head out to the lake and now I guess I’m heading to the service center instead. ☹

*** UPDATE ***

This does appear to be a software issue as others have reported and after sitting for more than 10 to 15 minutes my vehicle has cleared this error.

I’m heading out into the wilderness and if I don’t return you guys are free to fight over my accessories!!

You could let it power off and back on. People are reporting tranisent errors versus continuously faulted inverters.

yep I’m doing that as we speak tried it once in the parking lot of the charging station but have my dogs with me and not sure that it was powered down long enough.

Hopefully you and doggos will make it to the lake!

We will, but it’ll be in the FJ. No joy getting these cleared.

I was told by my service techs in alaska that this is a firmware bug, software updates will fix this in the future. This happened to me about a week ago and showed up twice, have put over 200 miles on since no problems. Rally forth!

The problem is I’m not just getting the errors I actually don’t have power in those motors. I’m currently front wheel drive only and it really shows. So, I can’t really take it off road where I want to go in this condition, but thanks for the heads up. ?

So those are likely the Beast's version of the same problem... Interesting.
