With a four-foot-tall front windshield, it was inevitable somebody had to fill in that extra space with something silly. I had been seeing these the last couple of years being posted on other vehicles and always got a chuckle. I saw a link and decided why not. I can confirm the split version fits on either side of the rearview mirror/camera divider of the CT (the DOUBLE (2x23.6 in. / 60cm LED unit).

I made some new .03' aluminum sunshades and painted them satin black (so they are now stuck to the shades, and not my windshield), covered the metal edge with some McMaster rubber edging, and now they can literally be just popped right in/out (but actually still work great when left in as a sunshade too). They were just slightly long due to the electronic end portions, so I gently angled these portions downward through the shade cutouts, and it just fits perfect.

I bought them at: LED Windshield Evil Eyes For Car And Truck – Throttle Tiger . These guys shipped pretty quick too.

I found out after I had got them, that they can also be programmed with all kinds of stuff from their app (custom graphics, words, pre-made themes, even with parts of actual photo's). I liked it so much I bought their biggest one and will be using it as a display that I can change up for different holiday decorations on the house :))...first world problems). Just something silly to share for the upcoming ? and holiday season.

They came with a two into one USB Y harness (two USB-C into a single USB-A). I used my 500 watt charging dock, just plugged it into the front 110 volt outlet. Works perfect. Still debating if I hide the wires and make it permanent, or maybe just bring out dock and plug into the USB-C’s as needed. Leaning towards permanent, as the kids are really loving it.

When you peel them off does it leave residue on the windshield?

Nope, that’s actually why I put them on the face of the sunshade that I made up. My front window is tinted, and I did not want that messed up.

The LED panels do came with some double sided tape in rolls that you are suppose to put on the windshield to adhere them. I used a better (wider) 3M tape and stuck it to the windshield side of my sunshade, and then to the back side of the LED panels. This basically allowed me to reverse how it attaches. I’ll post a video showing me taking it out (you’ll see it clearer, and see there’s no adhesion to the windshield). Super easy removal.

I showed my wife and, to my surprise, she loved it. Ordered!

Some buds and I got out to a taproom with a tiny parking lot every few weeks, and I usually park the truck facing into the sitting area. This'll be pretty funny to turn on while after we've been hanging out for a while.

Awesome! You’ll definitely draw some attention (the good kind)! It’s just fun, no other reason.

I made them, I can send you the .dxf cut file if you want it. Cut from .03 aluminum, then I put a rubber trim on the edge from McMaster, I can you give you that part number if you want it as well.
