Cybertruck windshield Cracked

[Dumb Game]

CyberBeast, purchased September 2024. Driving into work last week at 5 AM in Kirkwood, Missouri, the temperature was -1°C. My windshield suddenly cracked without any visible impact on the outside. Has anyone else experienced this? Am I the only one? check out the video

Had this happen on my model S. Leaving keystone, very cold, preheated, window hot. A bit of snow on the hood blew up when I started driving and the temperature shock cracked the window.

I have 52k miles and I'm on my third windshield. $1000 deductible with State Farm. $2500 at Tesla for a new windshield plus $1100 for new tint, both covered by State Farm. Not covered under warranty as far as I can tell. It's just a giant windshield that seems to be easy to break. I found a warranty company for just the windshield. Check out glassparency.com. I cannot endorse it until I need to make a claim which hasn't happened yet. It's $500 for 5 years of windshield coverage.

Duuuuuuude, i took your advice drove to Tesla Chesterfield MO and YES! My windshield is covered under warranty. They inspected it, no signs of physical damage. Free replacement! Mad respect for you!

I have 17,589 miles. At first i went through my insurance, Safelite windshield replacement is free or pay $1000 deduction for Tesla brand. we have 'Safeco' insurance

The cybertruck glass pushes a lot of engineering boundaries, so it's pretty tough to get it right.
