Looks like I'm one of the first 28XXX VINs (AWD), fresh out of the factory here in Austin
All of my reservation details are in the forum spreadsheet

Here are my new owner impressions (first poked around a buddy's CT back in January 2024):
  1. Driving a Cybertruck is like going from playing Quake in the 90s and then playing Halo on Xbox for the first time ?
  2. Steer-by-wire is better than any sports car I've ever driven, impossibly "focused" handling
  3. I couldn't stop smiling: "Cars don't make you happy!" but a Cybertruck does
  4. The Cybertruck is not worth the wait, it's so you good you want it now. Seriously. You're missing out and life is just too short
  5. The Cybertruck chills you the eff out because you no longer need to be an anxious driver. You have the power now
  6. Not many people stare at Cybertrucks anymore in Austin. Definitely no middle fingers, lots of smiles and waves
  7. AT tires, no wheel covers, tonneau open, no issues with battery range for city driving. My Jeep 4xe would have drained it's meager battery and half a tank of gas for the 25% of battery consumed by the Cybertruck
  8. The squircle is actually the same diameter as my Jeep steering wheel. It's just the form factor that makes it smaller in total size
  9. The squircle edges are good approximations for hand placement, based on the desired turn
  10. At first rear wheel steering scared me into countersteering, as I've driven RWD sports cars since I was 15 (learned in the snow in fact)
  11. Backing into my garage with rear wheel steering is the most stressful experience of my life

  12. Tactical grey (and AWD) interior is a celebration of cheap materials executed extremely well, the vinyl is not so bad

  13. The interior is not too minimalist, in fact I want even MORE extreme minimalism. I'd be happy with a HUD and voice commands and that's it
  14. Voice controls and squircle buttons liberated me from the touchscreen almost entirely
  15. The rear view mirror is useless
  16. I wear sunscreen all the time, because in Texas that windshield just lets in all the sunny goodness
  17. Don't buy the under seat storage bin, I regret it. Way more underseat storage if you don't use it
  18. Wireless charger almost bricked my iPhone 12 mini by overheating it
  19. My $300 Amazon 240V charger provides 32A and 244V of charge with no issues

  20. The hood makes a very good work surface, like the Jeep hood in WW2
  21. Magnets stay on, even with a touchless carwash

  22. FSD seems impossible to me without LIDAR. Tesla's camera based FSD seems like a basket of liabilities just waiting to fall and crack open
  23. The thing I miss most is the turn signal stalk

So excited I’ve finally taken delivery!!!! I ordered first one in FEBRUARY 2018, ordered a second one in May of 2024, almost 5 years to get the first one, and now the second one is ready for delivery, scratching my head trying to figure out how this is happening.

Picked up my AWD, White, AT Tires beast today! This is such an amazing vehicle! And yes.... it fits in my garage!
How long from placing the order until you got a VIN? I'm almost 2 months in now and still waiting on a VIN. Kind of frustrating considering how fast people are getting the dual motors...

Hi Mitch,
It was 58 days from order to delivery and about 44 to my VIN. Keep in mind that i changed from AS to AT tires and got a VIN ONE HOUR after the tire config swap.

Is it just me or wouldn’t the spreadsheet be much nicer for those that study it if the latest entries were at the beginning (inverse the order)?
Oh I totally agree with you on this one. As a waiting cash buyer I need to access this the most in my discoveries!!
