Any chance they're going to make it fit with the tailgate up? I hauled a motorcycle this weekend, and gate down = no FSD. It was killing me.They are looking to start production by end of the year. And there’s some big changes from what the initial concept was.
That's my dream sort of. Stealth camping at free chargers over night.Your local supercharger most likely
It will fit with the tailgate up. When deploying, the tailgate will go down and then the camper will expand out.Any chance they're going to make it fit with the tailgate up? I hauled a motorcycle this weekend, and gate down = no FSD. It was killing me.
I'm so spoiled by FSD.
You can close the two latches with your finger and the truck will think it’s closed and fsd will work with the tailgate downAny chance they're going to make it fit with the tailgate up? I hauled a motorcycle this weekend, and gate down = no FSD. It was killing me.

What are you referring to?hahaha, that is so embarrassing! smh!
LA autoshow reveal on Nov. feels late... I'll have my truck for over a year and still waiting for that install.
Charging which disables inverter is also an issue... I was hoping to use cyberlandr to sleep a while while I'm at L2 charging or super charger. With this tesla design... it might be an oven inside cyberlandr while I'm charging. Hopefully Lance has a workaround.
I want my cyberlandr soon! running outta patience.
Almost 3,000 miles in since my last Wh/mi reset, and I am running in the mid 400's on your setup shown. I agree no way no how that Cybertruck1 could even come close.I think that Cybertruck1 has misstated that mileage on that set up, no way it has no loss or same loss as our streamlined CyberCamper.
If you want to get in a Camper for the Cybertruck, our Made in the USA CyberCamper currently has a 3-4 week lead time and will be a new RS2.0 version!
Truck Bed Cap Topper:
Camper Top:
- Stainless steel “Hovering Roof” design with an aerodynamic rear spoiler sets us apart from the competition.
- 6″ taller than the peak of the roof for optimal aerodynamic performance, expect 450-500 Wh/m.
- Fits in a standard U.S.-sized garage door with 6″ to spare in low mode.
- Additional storage under the hood of the wind deflector in front of the tent.
- L-track top rails for easy mounting locations, crossbars available here.
- Top crossbars allow up to 100lbs on the top rails.
- Rear door locks to double-secure the bed storage area.
- Does not interfere with the closing tonneau cover; buttons are easily accessible in the camper.
- The best solution for overlanding, allowing maximum storage.
- Roof panel is white to reduce daytime heat by 15-20°F in the tent.
Hope that helps!
- Double pass-through floor with a 10′ peak when opened, allowing you to stand up in the entire bed.
- 48″ × 88″ XL Sized bed when both trap doors are closed – great for a couple and a dog or child.
- 3″ thick, dual-density mattress with washable flannel cover for a great night’s sleep
- Waterproof Mika Grey 400-denier ripstop fabric is extra sturdy, with an iridescent copper shade.
- Rainfly can be rolled up and secured at the top, laid flat over the rear window, or extended for shade or inclement weather protection.
- Camper top is locked closed with a remote push-button latch from inside the bed cap.
- Two large pockets inside the tent for small-item storage (drinks, phones, keys, etc.).
- Internal structure can be used to mount bungee nets, phone accessories, etc.
- Tent body can easily be swapped out for cleaning, future upgrades, and color changes.
- Three large doors with full-open windows allow maximum airflow, ventilation, or camper entry.
