Oh wow, I didn't even know that... I thought it used all the cameras for FSD.Well that's a bummer BUT the forward FSD cameras are behind the windshield, so I doubt this will affect autonomy at all. No other Tesla even has that bumper camera.
Well shrug who knows? But given that other Teslas don't even have a bumper camera, it would require re-coding FSD to use it. Plus, it's super wide-angle, so it's not significant to FSD unless you're rock-crawling lol.Oh wow, I didn't even know that... I thought it used all the cameras for FSD.
Excellent point. I DO love these cams when it comes to parking though. I feel like parking is easier with the CT than it was with my Model Y.Well shrug who knows? I tried driving around the neighborhood using just the bumper-cam display, I almost threw up
It's not un-possible that the bumper-cam could be used to peek around corners, since it's further forward... ?Excellent point.
fun fact: they designed this on purpose in part to prevent people from feeling comfortable driving with only the camera. They most definitely could format the view to near 1:1 or "video-game" like.Well shrug who knows? Nope, welcome to the "have nice thing for about 5 seconds" club. So, less than 1,000 miles and I already have rock chips on my front camera lens.
sigh. Anyone else in here not allowed to have nice things?
