I like this one, and have used it extensively. I know it sounds trivial. I like the battery feature. I can have a couple cans of water and take it away from the truck. I don't need the truck or the power. It has a battery inside that runs the pump for a couple showers. Uses propane like most. I just don't often camp next to my truck. Actually try not to.

Thanks mate. 8kW it is. My plan is to just draw water from a blue jug and mock up the first unit in a milk crate for ease of mounting options. The crate will have a small bar sink dropped in and a folding faucet with a mixing valve for hot and cold inlets along with a secondary valve for a hose with a hand held sprayer to serve as a shower. I want it to be as small, modular, and portable as possible. Like the Boxio unit but with a pump, hot/cold water, and a separate source for water.

piping? hose? showerhead? what does it look like in the bed?
I should really write something up and take photos. It’s all disassembled right now for winter.

I placed the bladder in the smugglers bay using pvc pipe to run the plumbing from the bladder down the smugglers bay drain and drilled a hole in the tail hitch cover with flexible tubing coming out with a quick connect for plugging into to either supply for filling or connecting to my plumbing board to pump water from.

I took a piece of plywood and screwed all the units on it piping them together with flexible 1/2 tubing. I mounted the plywood in the back of a prototype kitchen drawer I built from plywood. It has a supply line with a quick disconnect to hook up to the bladder quick disconnect and a hand shower on the other end, which we use for both showers and mounted as a sink faucet. The shower head has a manual flow control that can use to regulate the flow or turn it off completely.

I would like to put in a dedicated sink faucet so we have an always available sink separate from the shower.

It’s actually very compact. Everything is attached to the board like tetris with minimal tubing connecting it all together.

Here’s a photo I found before connecting it all.
