Thank you Michael. Kind of getting used to the always on vibe after a day or so.
In the daytime it looks kind of interesting with the prism hex film I have on the beast bar. much more subtle when driving because the white is on behind it. Kind of what you want for minimizing pull over risk anyway. Will probably mount your switch right by the auxbeam. I’ve found also that since that since it’s related to the ā€œkeep aux power onā€ feature it can be turned off remotely by putting the car in low power mode through the app. You can’t turn it back on, but you can turn it off that way. After that, if you still want cabin overheat and sentry and that sort of thing , you just turn it back out of low power mode

hemiarch thank you for the update.

That’s exactly what we tend to see once people live with it for a bit. When you’re driving and the OEM white is on behind it, it stays more subtle which is usually the sweet spot for daily driving and keeping it low key.

Mounting the switch right by your Auxbeam makes a lot of sense. Super natural spot for it. I’m thinking about possibly making a holder for it. Let me know your thoughts

Also great tip on Low Power Mode. You’re 100% right. Because it’s tied into the vehicle’s aux power behavior, Low Power Mode is a reliable way to shut it down remotely if you ever need to. And like you said, you can’t turn it back on remotely, but being able to kill it in a pinch is huge. Then you can pop it back out of Low Power Mode and keep Sentry, cabin overheat, etc running.

Appreciate you sharing that with the forum. That kind of real world workflow is exactly what helps other owners know what to expect and how to control it.

His posts were immensely helpful and I’m seriously considering buying. He definitely earned his deal with this one.

Appreciate that a lot ABILISK.

Big respect to hemiarch for taking the time to document everything in a real, detailed way. That kind of feedback helps other owners make an informed decision and it helps us keep improving the product and the overall experience.

Thanks, Michael (can I call you Mikey?) will do! I’d love to see the app integrate with the bar and show you a real time visual of what it’s doing. I’d also like the ability to cancel the white light while driving. If you did those two things you have a definite customer here.

Many of us have starlinks in the car so WiFi integration on blue ghozt might be nice though. Not sure how feasible that is.
I really do like @abilisks idea for a visualization. I find myself pulling up intimidatingly close to super shiny model y’s at stop-lights to see what the bar is doing. lol.
As for a nice quality 3d printed mount for one of those switches..small investment for you and would drastically impact the ā€œwell thought out packageā€ factor which matters in this price range. Slap a piece of quality 3m tape on the back and even include an alcohol pad and your package will look way more complete. Even if some people don’t use it.
if you make a mount, please coder sending me one.
Oh also..the cyberglow holographic sticker is a nice touch and I recommend continuing to include it. First thing you see when you open the box and definitely enhances the user experience.

now. On to more important conversation. What’s it gonna take for you to put a matching strip in my beast bar?
