Garaged and charge indoors. Have cameras and smoke alarms in the garage itself linked to my home surveillance system that will notify me in an event. I will also say I dont charge indoors unless I am also at home so that I can intervene if needed.

Of all the cars I've owned, the only recalls I've ever received that told me to move my car away from my house have been for 2 different BMWs (ICE). Been charging EVs in the garage for 10 years now. I'm much more concerned about the gas water heater or furnace.

That said, the Cybertruck is in the driveway because there's 3 other cars and a motorcycle in the garages. If I ever add a 4-post lift to move one of the infrequently used vehicles skyward, the CT will get garaged.

My brand new Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit Reserve 4xe also sent me a recall email asking me not to park or charge in door due to extreme fire risk...So I chuck it. :cautious: Best decision I made. These things are super unreliable.
