Yeah, but what do you do when that's as 'out of style' as avocado green refrigerators? I just think it'll look stupid and dated after a while. I'll stick with factory finish. I like it!
Other sorts of pattern polishing are quite possible:

(no doubt other providers also exist, that was just one I happened to find with a few quite different examples)

Even plain stainless has had its ups and downs to a degree, such as in the same context as your example, kitchen appliances. Granted that the overlapping circle pattern looks a bit old-time, not all patterns need suffer from that horrible burden (if one regards it as a burden rather than something that will sooner or later be nicely retro).

Good point! Stainless steel is widely used in energy efficient roofs because of its high solar reflectivity ratings. The high reflectivity might offset the absorption from the giant windshield and dash haha.
Any legal problems with driving a polished mirror CyberTruck on the road?

There are a number of cars out there with chrome paint or wraps. Think about the airstreams that are out there, or the semi trailers that are polished. That would be a heck of a
"fix-it-ticket"!

Polish with a clear protective wrap would be cool. Maybe a tinted color.

Just a hint of tint.

I can see the attraction of polishing the SS. Seems though that a clear wrap on top would really dull the effect.

I'm sure more than one person is going to do it. Someone soon will have a polished stainless steel CT towing a polished stainless steel Airstream travel trailer. That will turn some heads?
No way Jose would I polish my CT and blind other drivers with sun reflection?

Got it to play finally!

Who is planning on polishing or having their CT polished?

Share pics and references, I am in the NW also looking for ideas for some type of suttle CT design for my insurance office.
