afraid to update! 2024.14.6

My truck so far has been great! But I’m not sure I know what will happen when I update to 2024.14.6. I have a long trip tomorrow and don’t want to have CC any issues. Keep seeing screen black outs… what C should I do? Did others update and all clear? Currently on 2024.14.5

What do the 2024.14.6 release notes say? I have 2024.14.5 and that version (and previous ones) would fail to connect to my home WiFi network, until I rebooted. So I'm looking forward to 2024.14.6.

I downloaded 14.5 and experienced the screen blackout but after I reset it, it's been fine. Hopefully the 14.6 will fix whatever problem that was.

Has anybody else had issues with 14.5 wherein every time the truck goes to sleep and you get back in, the blue squares (updated from blue dots in previous software) indicate "new" features? It's a minor annoyance, but it causes me to wonder what other things are going on that I can't see.

14.6 came out so soon after 14.5 so there must be some hotfix in there that you will want to have before a trip.

Yes. No matter how many times I clear the blue items they come back. This is on a Tesla (not local) profile. I say that because it does the same in our other car (Model Y) on a totally different software version (v11 vs 12).

I totally get that feeling, had some same thoughts on the Model X a couple times before long (over 5,900 mile) road trips. If it helps I did the 2024.14.6 on the Cybertruck today and it is fine.

I updated last night. This morning I noticed the left and right camera's do not come on with the blinker. Just a black box with an x in the corner. I need to find a fix because I really rely on those side camera's. The camera's themselves work when looking in camera preview, just not when blinker activated.

I updated and had no issues that are noticeable. Saw some improvements. For example, when backing out of my driveway, I was seeing some "ghost" vehicles behind me. Those are now gone.
