Great! Thanks for sharing. It’s the false narratives out there that make me concerned about CT’s adoption. Check this out -
LoL, glad that guy is soo up on our cyberdumpsters ; P
I know every time I drive down the road I watch the parts falling off *facepalm*
Clearly no one remembers the McDonalds cybertruck spoons in China that Elon not knowing about and calling fake almost created a Tesla/China incident....

Thanks for posting that video, I hadn't seen it yet.

I had posted this elsewhere with the same opinion I had posted here earlier:
Being a cyberbeast owner and having driven HMMWVs in the middle east before the cybertruck I would have felt safe in a HMMWV but now it is just so archaic. AND.... it exists.... $3B on how many electric US Postal Service trucks?!?

Also the npr article I had posted here stated that there was a bid put out and that Tesla was the only one that took it seriously and put in a response. Soo..... Who else would win the bid?!?

The irony of all the moronic arguments against it are that it isn't "apocalypses proof" only deals with how bullet proof it is. Speed, maneuverability, weight capacity (not listed, what people have been doing), filtration, systems not exposed, etc.

Noting that additional layers of the stainless material (even honey combing for explosive??) would drastically increase its effectiveness. As the current layer has shown effective against many of the small arms rounds that are often used.

The ability of it to still go 0-60 in 3 seconds with the weight and have the maneuverability of almost a sports car avoids many of those shots that a standard armored vehicle would be required to take....

It is also equipped with an air filtration system that is almost as good as would be needed for actual gassing (charcoal filter mod??).

Hell its even been shown to still drive off with a wheel half broken off (thanks to a particular youtuber).
Yeah, all of that is nonsense. For a government contract to prove vehicle X is great there has to be an open competition where Y number of competitors submit their bids/test articles and then X prevails over all others. In this case though there is no word about any kind of open contract. Fans are going to do some fanning is guess :D

Literally 20 seconds into the video he calls Trump & Co a "band of incels." Doesn't Elon have like a dozen children ? I mean don't you have to get with a woman to make a baby so by definition you can't be an incel ?

This is a procurement forecast with an expected release for solicitation in May 2025 and targeted award of Q4 2025. These are forecasts indicating planned or potential solicitations rather than definitive, contracted, or released purchases.

You can validate the information yourself here:

https://findit.state.gov/search?affiliate=dos_stategov&sort_by=&query=procurement+forecast+2025

If you search for "Armored E" on column F you will find this and one other 'forecast'.

All of these forecasts were posted in December of 2024.

Only one item was modified on 2/12/25 and it happens to be the one in question. There in no manufacturer listed so it could have been removed.

It appears manufactures are listed in some cases as there is a listing for Armored BMW's.

I’m sure money could get an incel laid
I guess I missed the part that getting female attention due to one's wealth and status doesn't negate their position as an incel. Mind blown. What school did you go to ?
