Spot on!One of those things when I rarely say - just because you can doesn’t mean you should! I was doing very similar long road trips with very few stops, but when you take a break every two hours, the journey becomes so much fun and enjoyable. Now I force myself to stop every couple of hours to stretch, even though I’m fully capable of driving 5 or more hours at a stretch. Vacation is not a race. It took me several years to realize that. If I want to go fast and furious, I do dedicated track days on safe roads!
Used to drive where I never see a car in front of me that I never want to overtake.
And once, I overtook a Lambo on I-15 with my daughter's Yaris (best power-to-body-weight ratio car I've driven then).
Most dangerous when I have to force to come home anyways doing a round trip SoCal and NorCal despite whole day meetings and tiring drive back.
My muscles were involuntary shaking all over that when I reached home, I fell on the pathway when my foot had not tripped on anything.
Never again!
