Hey everyone!

I just came across a solid winter traction aid that might be worth dropping into your Cybertruck gear setup β€” especially if you live someplace where snow/ice can catch you off guard. It’s theπŸ‘‰ Tlyard Tesla Snow Socks for Tires (anti-slip traction aids) β€” basically a textile alternative to chains that slips over your tire tread to give extra grip in snow/ice. They’re designed for Tesla vehicles including Model 3/Y/S/X, and yes β€” Cybertruck too (fits most wheel sizes). These are meant to be a lightweight, emergency traction device β€” not a permanent replacement for dedicated snow tires, but great for getting unstuck or navigating a snowy driveway.

Here’s a short, easy-to-read comparison table you can drop right into your forum post (helps your fellow Cybertruck owners quickly weigh snow traction options):

FeatureSnow Socks (e.g., textile traction aids)Tire ChainsWinter Tires
Traction on SnowπŸ‘ Good β€” extra grip over bare tires⭐ Excellent β€” best grip in deep snow⭐⭐ Excellent β€” designed for winter roads
Traction on Ice⚠ Moderate β€” not as strong on hard ice⭐⭐ Very good β€” metal digs into ice better⭐ Good β€” depends on tread compound
Ease of Installationβœ” Easy β€” slip on in minutes❌ Harder β€” takes tools/timeβ€”β€” (no install mid-season)
Weight & Storageβœ” Light & compact❌ Heavy & bulkyβ€”β€” (tires take space year-round)
Ride Comfort & Noiseβœ” Quiet & smooth❌ Noisy & bumpy⭐ Smooth (normal tires)
Durability⚠ Wears faster on bare pavement⭐ Durable with care⭐ Designed for season-long use
Best ForOccasional snow / emergenciesDeep snow, ice, mountain passesEveryday winter driving

If you are prefer easy to install, lightweight, and great for emergency traction or occasional snowy conditions. Tlyard's snow socks will be a perfect option.

Put these under the chains for maybe even better traction- would chains on top rip them up?

Did anyone actually used them in snow and icy conditions? Not just promo video.

That seems like it would work on smooth ice, but not in snow, snow needs treads.

This method is more prone to tearing, so it's recommended to choose just one of them for use.
