Electronic throttle systems break all the time. I think they have a safe mode that still allows some acceleration but it's very, very slow. It's just as important to be able to accelerate away from an oncoming vehicle as it is to steer away from one.
Welcome to the Internet where everyone with a camera is all of a sudden a self-proclaimed expert on things, even all the way from Australia. I mean, nobody even heard of "Out of Spec" before the CT came out but now he's an authority? Please.
They should have just offered to include an extra 50kWh of battery capacity in the Tri-Motor Cyberbeast as a $15,000 option. The idea of an aftermarket range extender is just stupid.
Nowadays Tesla mobile charging adapters only go up to 32A. But older ones would go to 40A and they were available on Ebay, so you may be able to find one if you need faster AC charging.

What other method is there for getting 500 miles instead of 300 miles if not a larger battery pack? Some crazy battery technology breakthrough that would only be used in the Tri-motor Beast but not the Dual-motor or Rear-motor trims? Doesn't make sense.
How are they going to get the wiring and coolant plumbing into the truck bed? Or is the truck already pre-wired/pre-plumbed?
I'm kind of skeptical of this range extender concept. Why not just offer the Cyberbeast with a bigger battery pack, like what was originally announced 4 years ago?
After watching a bunch of Cybertruck videos on Youtube it seems like the AWD Cybertruck is mostly rear wheel drive biased, with the front axle only getting power from the single induction motor under acceleration. On the other hand, the Tri-Motor Cyberbeast has the 2 induction motors in the...
