Hey everyone, I just placed an order for a 2026 Cyberbeast and I’m coming from a Model S Plaid. I wanted to tap into the community and ask what I should expect as a new owner, especially in terms of common issues or things worth addressing early.

On my Plaid, I installed adjustable rear camber arms and was able to correct the early inner tire wear issue, which helped a lot. I think I’ve seen some mentions of front tire wear on the Cyberbeast — is that actually a known issue? If so, do adjustable camber arms up front help in a similar way?

Any advice on things to watch for, get ahead of, or plan for early on would be appreciated.

I’ve had zero issue with tire wear on my Beast. Good choice on the Beast btw, coming from a Plaid you would have been disappointed in a AWD.

You're in for the greatest truck ever made... Congrats and welcome to the club. A few things people have noticed and to look out for are leaking tonneau - which they really don't have a great fix for, most users took it upon themselves to fix, it's fairly easy to do. Another thing to look for is panel separation, the adhesive tends to de-bond on some trucks and the panels can rattle or make noise, just go around and push on them to see if the feel solid. Besides that a few have had a major issue with the battery contacts - which you probably shouldn't have on a 26, but you would know if you did, it will give you warnings on the display. Those are the most major things I can think of the rest mentioned were mostly minor, squeaks, interior noises and wind noise. Hope that helps, enjoy it.

Thanks a lot for the info. Btw I have a low profile 3 ton jack for my plaid. Will I have to get a diff jack to change tires on the CB?

The de-bonding issue has been resolved almost entirely after non foundation series cycle ended (Nov 24’ production month/year and forward) when they switched adhesives.

OP - I would just look at general alignment for panels and general Tesla checklist items when you take delivery. Most newer reports are around Window seals and air noise in very cold temps. (seems like 20 and below) but are sometimes fixed with the window switch adjustment trick. (Found on this forum, if needed ping me and I can DM instrictions)

Enjoy your truck!

Huge Congrats!!
I cannot state more emphatically that as a man who absolutely loves “cars”… THIS IS PERSONALLY THE BEST VEHICLE I HAVE EVER OWNED. Comfort, Space, the Normal power outlets when I want to “work from car”!. FSD (get it - it’s awesome) and worry free “bullet proof” for Shopping Cart incursions…

My first CT was May 10 2024 (foundation) and what a thrilling day for me and my family. This was before the “drama” of politics, which I feel has generally died down. I still don’t take it into NYC because of the crazies

In terms of repair you won’t have these issues:
-Accelerator pedal recall
-External panels recall
-Some had panel gap concerns
-Some earlier (not me) weird “blackout” issue close to delivery
-seriously ZERO issues with the truck hardware other wise for me

not sure how others feel about sentry mode phantom drain on batteries.

The things you MIGHT deal with even today may be:
-Garage space
-Wrap decisions
-Tonneau misalignment
-Cleaning (if you wrap)
-I suggest you opt for the FSD
-PowerShare setup
-Reaching things in the far end of the bed lol
-Charging in your garage (your old wall charger cable may not be long enough)
-*The love and hate from others (thumbs up and admirers - I STILL catch people taking pictures of my truck) and (bird flippers and 50’s women parking lot mumblers as they walk by with their evil eye)
Range may be a little less but man, enjoy the trunk space and please take it places your S never went..

Some other things I LOVE
-Height adjustment
-in vehicle GROK
-Ride
-Ride in heavy rain
- STEERING OH THE STEERING
- Frunk is a nice bench
- The sound system

TRULY best of luck sir

is this your first Pick Up truck?

OP needs to learn how to smile and nod politely when the AWD crew says their trucks are just as good as his. You're entering a world that few can comprehend.

CT in 2026?

Congrats! I believe CT VIN’s are now in the 90’s and virtually all the first year production bugs have been addressed.

The big ones that come to mind are use of a new structural adhesive to bond the SS panels to the inner steel panels and a revised PCS (Power Conversion System) that could leave you stranded if it fails. Replacing a defective PCS requires many hours of labor.

Right? What a kick in the nuts to all of us AWD owners :ROFLMAO:. "Your truck is ok, but..." Of course, I agree. I've had a couple of Beast loaners, and I hate giving them back. BUT, I so rarely even use the power my AWD has. The Beast was more of an occasional giggle moment when I did hit it. I doubt I would do that often in real life. But ya, coming from a plaid to an AWD would be different for sure. But, considering my lowly AWD will basically keep up with a Raptor R or a TRX, I still feel pretty happy with it ;).
