Love it OP! I’ve been running my Peek-Do since November and it’s outstanding! Just did an 800mi trip to Vegas and back and couldn’t be happier! Had it located in front of the passenger seat on the dash and it worked brilliantly!! Had signal interruptions at about 80mph but other than that, I had internet the entire way. There are several dead zones between Reno and Vegas so it came in handy for phone calls and podcasts! I’ve decided to permanently place it on the last roof mount behind our Mars Ag Rack. I’m using their dedicated mount and will run it off of the bed 120 outlet.

So for anyone considering the set up, just do it! You won’t be disappointed. 👍

This cover has held up well so far. Rain, sleet and snow tested over the last few days as well.

Recommended by a friend so just ordered. Looks like it has some potential for in-cabin use.

Quite cool. Slick and classy and probably useful with one of those peek-do batteries also.
Worth sharing that in a twist which surprised me more than just about anyone else, my mini actually works better flat on the dashboard than at the recommended angle. I think that may be because in a car you’re pointing multiple different directions rather than consistently north or south.

I’ve been using the Peak-Do for 2 months now and absolutely love it. Hoping I can find a way to use this mount with it attached and will report back as soon as it arrives.

Funny you say that as I got great connection with the mini on a trip to Vegas last week and I had it flat on the dashboard as well! I think you may be right and I’m going to keep it there for a while and see if there are any issues.

interesting product! here it is on amazon for $60 less:

doesnt look like it will allow for the use of the battery pack in the OP though, which I think really takes the mini to another level.
Great find on Amazon! I’ve got the Peak-Do and I’m hoping I can rig the mount in a way that will allow it to be used. Fingers crossed.

Great find on Amazon! I’ve got the Peek-Do and will report back on Monday as I’m sure I’m going to have to try and figure out a way to mount it, with it attached.
is the battery pack being used in this image or do I see a power cord going to the mini?
No, doesn’t look like the Peak-Do is being used in that picture.

I enjoy all these different discussions. As I use my truck as a mobile office which I use the starlink all day but also have a second cell phone as a hot spot and a 5g sim in a router to load shed everything. I maybe a little over the top.
Same here. 8 to 14 hour days, 200 miles average per day, West of civilization in Port St. Lucie, Florida for underground fiber optic cable installations.

I did an inside roof-glass mount with a lightweight metal frame with two powerful suction cups suitable for the task with warning indicators. Only one is required to support the entire system in high heat environments. My roof must reach around 120F during July/August.

Tesla Cybertruck Convenient Starlink Mini mount + Video 1766880650899-y8

Power cord that was included and wall wart to the outlet back of center cobsile
Need to do the measurement for a shorter cord off amazon
Then use surface mount t-wraps to make durable
I have the outlets on setting when in vehicle
If outside the truck at a location and want WiFi I’ll use the outlets on 12 hours setting

Happy with the results and performance of the mini
Unlimited at $165 is a bit steep
I have a standard at home

Ive had the Starlink Mini for about half a year and it rides around in the back seat of the CT right behind the drivers head stuck to the rear roof glass behind the driver. It uses suction cups as part of the mount off of Amazon and a barrel connector to USB-C connector for power. No need for additional batteries, you carry over 100KW of power on the CT, use it.

The USB-C power cable is plugged into the center rear USB-C connector for power. The excess cable is coiled up in the back seat drivers set pocket and goes from there to the Starlink above the drivers head.

The USB outlet is controllable through the console to have it turn off when the truck turns off or stay on 24/7. I think that is also controllable through the app as well. I will generally only lose a few % of charge with the Starlink on round the clock when we camp. Once people camping near us detect the hot spot they come over and ask if they can join. I say YES and give them the pswd for the SSID.

Best investment we have made since buying the CT!

Best part of using a mini and esp work
Can now work anywhere
Even part of a day

drive up early to the mountains
Work part of the day using the mini
Then hike the second part of the day

Love it! I also run in eth mode on the starlink and let the router handle all the connections. I also have Speedify running on the router to add additional functionality with other cellphones.
What that also does is tricks the cellphone tower that I’m not running on hotspot. So I save bandwidth some times does not work the best in speed but saves data.
