Thank you CT owner for doing that.

But also that F350 person/family should have not even been in that situation. With that load and trailer size they were asking for issues in sand like that.

Just glad they got out with the help of a CT and maybe they will be more cautious in the future when towing that large of trailer.

People bring camper on to the beach all over the country... And sometimes they get stuck. Stay home if you're afraid.

65SoYoLo I am not saying I am afraid as in my younger years I towed many a large trailer and heavy stuff with my Ram 1 ton and tow packages I had on it. But as the years have gone by I learned to think things out a bit more and the exit outcome. I am just saying they were not smart with that load and long trailer in that type of sand. I am also not saying they should totally stop towing or camping. But think a bit......

People get stuck here on the beach all the time. And worse yet They dont think about the changing tide and guess what happens. So during the peak tourist season some guys go up and down the beach with their big trucks and pull them out before or even after they wind up in the surf. Just wondering if the cybertruck has some advantage over ordinary trucks, more torque maybe ? was it the kinetic rope, the tires on the cybertruck, or that perhaps the CT was in more packed sand? I'd like to post this on our beach board.

Nah. Risk is always about consequence. Given the beach full of potential help, I would say the average consequence level is pretty minor. Worse case scenario, you have to hire a commercial recovery rig.

I just hope that RV'er wasn't so embarrassed by getting extracted using an electric truck, that he failed to give that guy a Benjamin for his efforts. A pull like that does no favor to his $300 kinetic recovery rope. That was a big rig with massive resistance to get moving. Kinetic recovery ropes retain the most useable energy when they are relatively lightly used. Sure, they can be used for hundreds (or perhaps even thousands of extractions), but they only lose elasticity from new.

That looks to be Glamis. Happens all the time out there. Big trucks and toy haulers. This is my setup for Glamis. Loaded with a Can-Am, a lot of water, and fuel, it weighs around 20000 LBS.

If you're towing in the sand you almost have to expect to get stuck, there's usually someone with a badass truck (in this case the most badass, Cybertruck) that filled that role. The off-road community is full of good sam patriots.

I am truly glad he had a CT person help him get out.

I guess my old age is showing and the things I have learned over the years. Yes I am way more cautious now then I was when I was younger.

The CT is a very good truck and super strong and it is just what this person needed to help.
Thank you for helping out a ICE truck in need.
