Hi! Regarding the Cybertruck driving footage, we only managed to capture a short clip — please take a look.

You can also check out how the display looks while driving in the Model 3 Highland.
Is this the marketing equivalent of lingerie ? More desirable because you can’t see much?

I would like to try it out too, but this is a valid concern of mine as well. Does it block or hinder the airflow from the vents? Living in Fl, my A/C is a must and I dont want something blocking my vents.
Hi! This 10.88" dashboard display is designed with adjustable vents and will not block the airflow, so you can use it with confidence! ;)

@Teslaunch , I would like the opportunity to test this out and not only try it out on the drivers side for rear camera view, blind spot monitoring, or baby monitor but also would it be possible to put on the passenger side for route planning (restraunt hunting), baby monitor, watching shows on long trips. What about the possibility of putting one on both sides?
Installing one on each side is a great idea, (y)(y)(y)but currently, this display is not recommended to be set up that way. Since it works in tandem with the vehicle’s system, connecting two screens together may cause them to show the same content, and split-screen control is not yet supported.

We really appreciate your suggestion of installing two screens. We’ll forward this idea to our product development team to see if it can be implemented in the future.:giggle:

Here is my installation and review video of the Teslaunch 10.88" dashboard display. For those keeping score at home, it was delivered to me a few weeks ago but I needed some time to shoot and edit, so the last 3 weeks is on me.

All in all, super-crisp display, easy to use, supports OTA updates via WiFi (I updated after installing), multiple UI skins and you can connect via Bluetooth for wireless CarPlay or Android Auto - yes I show this in my video as well. Really well built unit.

Here is the video:

+ very easy installation
+ fires up quickly and easily
+ has passthrough vents with adjustable vanes for airflow
+ in perfect sync with center display
+ If you want CarPlay/Android Auto = you now have it, rejoice and be merry!

- installation manual is not great, watch my video to find where all the connector splices are located and it will save you a lot of time and heartache
- should be tapping in to drivers side for power, reason being is I can only power my rearview mirror camera or this display as neither splice is passing through power to the other. Will have to see if I can route power via USB-C to one of them

I don’t see how these are going to keep selling with the planned UI CarPlay integration. As I understand it ,that’s the main draw for a lot of customers.

Guess we'll see if/how/when Tesla integrates CarPlay.

My issue with jamming everything in the center screen is that it's getting very congested. That's why I like a standalone rearview mirror camera and, in this case, a separate speedo. One thing I missed from my old X and S moving to CT was a separate dash display in my line of sight.

I do like that in the x.
Especially the blind spot cameras.

Thank you very much for your review video.(y)

To enable the simultaneous use of the streaming rearview mirror and the 10.88" dashboard heads-up display, we will send you a new power adapter cable so you can try powering the rearview mirror camera from above the passenger seat.:D

Final Product looks great, install seemed not the clearest... might want to include better step by step instructions for connectors/wire paths.

ONE negative observation...why did your software peeps stick with the Tesla sedan overhead view on the tire pressure screen?? I know a 3/S/X can all look similar from above and could be interchangeable, but seems like an oversight. Get that Cybertruck view!

Does it sync up the screen brightness with the main display? In part of your video your main screen was dark but your 2nd screen was bright white so it made me wonder whether or not it synchs light/dark mode and brightness with the main screen.

Did you ever get the cable from them to allow you to power your mirror from somewhere overhead?

independent brightness control from the main display.

No cable received, giving it another week and then I’ll remove this dash display. If I have to choose one - dash display or rearview mirror camera- I have to go rearview mirror camera.
