For me, one of the reasons is so some legal beagle from sin city who likes Thai food, treats his Cybertruck like an insanely fast fridge with a shelf on top and has a detailing staff for his fleet of teslas can educate me on how AI is programmed and make pop culture recommendations

Bought them because they look cool. I haven't noticed any wind noise or range impact. I have not been through the car was with them installed. Earlier this year I needed to test a OneWeb in-motion satellite terminal (Kymeta Hawk u8, I believe). This terminal is huge compared to any of the Starlink terminals. I'm sure my truck really hated this inferior, non-Starlink terminal mounted on it.

But yes, OEM crossbars are cheating. Nothing should be that solid and come on and off that easily. I tried the Mars ones (crossbars, not the rack) and it’s not even fair to compare them. They aren’t even in the same league.

Actually, you are right. that's 100% what I would do. I forgot they finally released it lol

easy to resell, or best of all you can install them at various places like family's house when you visit from out of town. Or even convince your favorite lunch spot to install it. Maybe you could work out a deal where you get an exclusive parking spot lol.

Looks great there. I think I'll start with the front 2 and go from there.

interesting venture for me, I purchased the applique not understanding what it was, but highly recommended and a very good deal as it includes installation by the TSC

the applique is the replacement of the two side strips in front adding the crossbar front mounts
the AWD only comes with the rear mounts and the applique adds the front mounts

only owning two bars at this time, doubt ill purchase two more bars, i have bar mount options of front, rear or split wide

I love them. I have had the OEM crossbars for quite a few months. Very easy to put on and take off and well constructed. I think my range is about 10% less with them on. They’re very well constructed.
