I mean this is essentially >90% of sellers on Amazon, or any other website that offers third party sellers lol.

I'm impressed with your research.
Correct. And I dumped Amazon years ago when they started habitually sending me counterfeit goods, even if purchased from the manufacturer's Amazon storefront.

They are an evil company, just like Wal-Mart; but without as many storefronts.

My county does not allow gift cards with consecutive numbers though.

It’s just dumb. “Detective” work to what end? It is STANDARD business practice - nothing nefarious about it.
Wait...You are the same person who recently laughed at anyone who believed Tesla's were safe vehicles, citing a bogus FUD study and claiming that Tesla had the highest fatality rate of any manufacturer, per mile travelled. It turns out that study under-estimated the total number of Tesla miles travelled, almost certainly purposefully, by four times, in order to inflate the fatality rate per mile travelled.

Why would a Tesla fan cite a bogus study, one specifically designed to tarnish Tesla? Especially when it's so clearly bogus?

Trust is something that is earned, that goes for individuals as well as vendors. Cybertruck owners, collectively, are some of the least gullible people you will find. Or we wouldn't own Cybertrucks. Because people like you keep throwing shade on them publicly.

Can anyone explain to those of us that are uninformed what it takes to become a sponsor on this site? I appreciate the site and have purchased many things from good sponsors here, but I have also seen many questionable sponsors on here that risk ruining it for everyone. "Pay $x" is a perfectly acceptable answer; it takes time and money to run sites like this. Just curious to help weigh the credibility of "site sponsors".

I prefer to buy American to support Americans. That doesn't mean I ONLY buy and support American. Just because something is made in China or any other country doesn't mean it's bad, but they should not be dishonest in its representation. I don't want to support businesses that do that.

I have repeatedly asked the same question. Say I wanted to become a sponsor, what exactly do I have to do? Not complicated. Who here knows?

Do we have any American sponsors here? Maybe they can answer the question. I'd assume the simple answer is just money.

It is just money.

We're a sponsor here and on the Rivian forums (same owning company), so I'm sure rates vary, but yes, it's a paid sponsorship, and the dilution of vendors here (vs. Rivian, which is obviously much more US-centric) is obvious.

I tend to post more as an owner than as a sponsor though, unless someone posts a product-specific question. I'm just as tired of the emoji-laden promotional posts from accounts pretending they bought this awesome product for their trunk, when, in fact, it's their product, and they don't own a truck. 🤷🏼

Omg. Thank you for saying that last part. I feel the same way.

"Hey look at this cool thing I found! "... That I sell on my website.
