Think I might start with small interior project and see how deep down this xkglow rabbit hole I’m willing to go.
Let me rephrase that. How far down this rabbit hole my wife is willing to let me go.
I like to tell people my interior theme is “trashy limo” so I can’t just ignore your post.
Damn you @gtgarner!
Here is pic of my current interior. Obviously it looks a little better at night. Any suggestions for a relatively easy first xkglow mini-project?

Nice. Very nice.

Where did you get your roof stars? Did you do that yourself?

Wait - you have Tron lights on your upper rear glass? Thats so cool.

No. Everything else yes, but if you see what’s involved with that you’ll know why I handed it over to the professionals. They basically strip the trim off, attach bundles of fiber optics to each pillar and crossbar and then drill individual tiny holes in the headliner for the fiberoptics to come out and pull each through by hand and apply a dab of hot glue to the inside. Then they reinstall everything and trim the fiberoptics from the outside of the headliner like they are giving it a haircut.
Small business by the name of Distinct Teslas here in Phoenix did it for me. It’s owned by a good dude who I consider a friend named Kornell Lloyd. Prices are fairly competitive from what I’ve heard other people pay for it.

It’s an awesome mod though. Big wow factor and makes the interior feel very “special”.
My kids love the hell out of it

My wife thought it was nuts at first but she likes it so much we put them in her model x too.

So what do you suggest first? Door insert where the stock accent lights are? Center console?
I already have a strip right under the dash edge. It’s ok…nothing like the xkglow coolness.

Center Console would be the easiest. on the inside.

Underglow is the easiest on the outside.

What does the underglow attach to under the car?

On the side - I attached the lights to the running board with zip ties.

On the front and rear - I attached the lights to the OEM plastic shields with zip ties.

I know the off road light Bar has been an ongoing topic here, but I want to collect some data to present to TESLA.

I took delivery of my Cyberbeast back in May 2024. It’s been 9 months and I have not yet received “the email” to come and get your light. Nine months is way to long to wait. I called “customer relations” today and was told its a “hurry up and wait game” and there is NOTHING they can do on their end to expedite the process.
I have a neighbor that recently took delivery of his truck and has his light bar.

Some here on the forums have had success by just making a service appointment and had the light bar installed without the email. This tactic has not worked for me at 2 different service appointments.

I have 2 other Tesla vehicles and this has been the worst experience with Tesla service so far.

Question for fellow Cyberbeast owners here. How many here have had their light bars installed and how long have you owned your truck?

I could have had a baby by now..9 months is ridiculous and unacceptable!

Just received mine on 8-28-25 one year after taking delivery on 8-23-24. I love it! It was worth the wait!

Finally. A happy post about the lightbar.
I love mine too. But it’s sacrilegiously on my AWD. 😉

Are they just directly soldered to the battery?
