Still stare at mine an extra second or two every time I walk away and hear it growl like Optimus. I’m on day 94 of ownership. Mine spend 30+ days in SC for what appears to have been a bad caliper connection (electronic signal). I anxiously awaited its return each from each SC visit. So, in the 64 actual days I’ve had her I’ve put on now 6,800 miles of which probably 6,700 are FSD and 100 miles of chuckles as I grab the wheel from my AWD CT chauffeur.

Most recent crazy WOW experience: in the middle of Mammoth Cave Natl Forrest at a camp ground with zero bars on my phone, Starlink can’t link because too many trees, and no connection on my TMobile 5G/4g WiFi tower…. I was able to watch videos on YouTube (on how to reset my Starlink) in my CT which had full connectivity somehow. Crazy. It FSD’d me right to my camping spot and then half ass parked it 100 ft away at an awkward angle in the middle of the road like a mic drop ?!

This is the best investment I ever made!

I have never owned an EV. Totally happy with my Honda Pilot. I thought Teslas were a scam. My Wife and son loved the look of the CyberTruck and always pointed them out on the road.

After hearing news about Tesla vandalism, we decided to do a test drive on a whim. The drive was good, but a little scary - brake regeneration and fly by wire steering are not natural!

The deal going on was irresistible. 1k vet discount, 1k referral, overly generous trade in for our pilot (19,200), + 99,500 price for a high VIN 2024 foundation which included lifetime supercharging, premium internet and FSD. Plus 1.99 financing!

The delivery process was painful and communication extremely poor with the recall. But we lucked out and saw a price drop of 10k which Tesla honored.

Result: I am totally blown away. This thing drives better than anything I have previously. I had a loaner while getting my windows tinted (2024 tacoma SR5) and felt like I was driving s Flintstones car.
Welcome to the family… we are enjoying our CT every moment of it. We missed it like our child whenever we are on vacation. Those people that hate it, they’re just jealous and we will continue to ignore them until they figure out themselves how beautiful this creation is…

I'm 3k miles in & I'm still blown away! I wonder if the feeling goes away at 5k ?!

Enjoy your CT Sacramento!
We're at 10,000 miles and just had a quick chat about needing to drive the other car a bit today because it's been sitting lonely for 3 weeks. I think the result of the conversation was a silent stand off. "We should..." "Yes, we should... shouldn't we..." "Yep."

Edit: ended up being me. :cautious:

Curious how you got the 1.99%? Hopefully I didn't miss it in the thread but looked over every response. That's great and I thought that was only for the Y.

EDIT: I suppose you probably got it during the last promo. My fault

Exactly. Drive, experience it for a week. No looking back. + 9 powerwalls "built in generator, FSD & Robotaxi. Win win win ?

I am still waiting for it to go away too. I picked mine up, a used CyberBeast Foundation series with 6k miles for $85k, about a month ago and after 2500 miles I am still blown away. I had a Raptor before and we measured smiles per gallon instead of mpg because the gas mileage was pretty bad. I can’t believe how much fun I have in this thing while saving so much money in gas.
Congrats to the OP on your new ride man. It’s like we live in the future now and nobody understands until they get in the truck. I was prepared to deal with vandalism but I have been amazed at the amount of positive interactions we have every time we drive it. I hope you are getting the same.
that’s an awesome deal!

This is very good to hear! I’m looking at buying a foundation series right now.

It's not something one can understand without logging a few hours behind the wheel of a CT. I feel like I could talk until I'm blue in the face, and I'd still never successfully communicate, to friends, family or coworkers, what makes the CT experience so satisfying. Now that you KNOW, congrats!

Yes, we bought on the last day of that promo but then had to wait forever to get delivery due to the recall work. But we ended up lucking out - price dropped to 89.9k and they honored it along with the finance deal.
