No, I really don't. I've been driving electric cars exclusively for over 6 years without one, I have never wished I could use CCS chargers. And the Cybertruck has more range than all of my previous EVs.
Likewise, I bought a CHAdeMO adapter during the Model S 75D days... big mistake. I think I used it once a long time ago at Horseshoe Bay only because I forgot to charge in Fairmont @ Whistler before leaving. CCS is a dead standard, there should be no reason to use. In fact, I would almost argue that the one time I did use my adapter to charge, it degraded my battery - not sure if it was a "handshake" issue, but my 320kms all of a sudden became 280kms of range.

You guys *do* realize there are parts of North America with no NACS chargers, right? Chill out. This isn't for you.

I got a CT-compatible CCS adapter for $100 from Amazon and it has certainly helped on my road trip. It wasn’t that I couldn’t get anywhere I wanted but it was sure nice to be able to charge up in Creede, CO after camping in the nearby mountains as well as in Manhattan, KS before continuing my trip.

You are wrong. Two instances where the adapter is essential:
- I tow a boat in lower Colorado. The Tesla charger in Pueblo, CO (also in Colorado Springs) is in a parking garage. I can’t bring the boat in there and it would be a pain to find somewhere to unhitch and park the boat and then go charge. The solution is to go to the next exit north where there is an Electrify America at a Sam’s Club. If I can get the end stall I don’t have to unhitch the boat and the charger is a 350kWh.
- towing the boat west of CSprings where there is no Tesla chargers (attention Tesla - Woodland Park and Hartsel desperately need chargers). It’s a round trip to fish 3 reservoirs up there. These round trips showed me range anxiety is a myth because I have plenty of range. But if I ever needed a little bit of charge Divide, CO has two 60kWh chargers.
- charging at the Tesla chargers in Ogallala, NB. These are complete crap! They charge pitifully slow and they are in the back of a hotel with nothing around. I will never charge there again because across the highway is an Electrify America with 350 kWH chargers.

Will I use non-Tesla chargers all the time? Hell no, they are unreliable and costly. But in a pinch they are a great alternative. It’s always better to have more options!!!

Read my post again, because that's exactly what I said, I don't need one. The thread title claims I do need one. It's false. Maybe someone needs one, but I don't.

Reading comprehension 101.

I'm not wrong, I said I don't need an adapter. If you need one, great, get one for yourself, don't try to convince me that I need one, I already know that I don't. Plus, NACS chargers are growing at a faster rate than CCS, it's a dying standard. And more EVs in America already have NACS ports compared to vehicles with CCS ports.

No overheating protection? Is it NACS certified?

Sounds like a cheap Chinese knock-off to me.

You picked only one standard to meet?

What about water resistance?
What about meeting the NACS J3400 physical and communications standards?

AFAIK, UL94-V0 just means that when you catch on fire, it only lasts 10 seconds. But it could easily melt and drop on the ground, leaving all the electronics exposed.
