Matt Watson kept re-running this race until he got the results that he wanted.
Xiaomi has a 500+ horsepower advantage and still got sorted!
I really wish Tesla had put the exact same power train from the plaid in the CT. I believe they didn’t do it for efficiency reasons having something to do with the permanent magnet motors that I don’t fully understand.
I was recently exploring resto-mod options for the distant future and basically discovered that I could create two additional 3sec. 0-60 vehicles with just the motors that are in the plaid already.

Just noticed from this thumbnail that they have the plaid badging on the opposite side in the UK. Not functional, but I guess they want it on the opposite side from the steering wheel no matter what.
