Surprised to see in inventory in my area a Foundation Series, still showing as a 2024 new vehicle obviously. Would you buy one of these now? My fear: I'm sure there have been many small process improvements made on the production line along the way, and an older vehicle would not be as rattle-free or built up to current quality levels. Thoughts?

Bought a FSCB in July. It is awesome. VIN is low 30k so I think a lot of the issues were either addressed at build or reworked before delivery. I have put almost 5000 miles on it and it has been incredible. Best vehicle I have ever owned. Also included free supercharging and premium connectivity as long as I own it plus all the other CB goodies and a $12k discount. No idea when the light bar will show up but I suppose I will eventually get an email.

Is it a beast or an AWD? I have a buddy that might pull the trigger or a FS Beast if he could find one.

I've seen no beasts - just FS AWD.

May 2024 FS AWD, VIN 10.5K and 10,596 miles with a lifetime efficiency of 365Wh/mi - I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.

Tesla Cybertruck Would you buy a new Foundation now? 365z

I've had no mechanical or electrical issues beyond the usual phone heater, though I did get all of the recalls done as they became available. (cantrails, wiper motor, etc.)

I have no rattles at all, the truck feels like it was milled from a solid steel billet.

I've accessorized and modded it a ton - molle panels in frunk and vault, flamethrower in the frunk, Starlink mini under the glass roof, red seat covers, extra USB and power ports front and rear, inner door handles, magnetic trash cans and flashlights, underseat storage front and back, running boards, mirror delete, tint, lots more I can't think of off the top of my head. It's so much fun, the Cybertruck has tons of room for personalization.

I saw them popping in and out at the end of June. I'm in Dallas. I had one "in my cart" on two separate occasions but got cold feet and didn't pull the trigger and then they were gone. After that I checked the website a couple times a day and the next time one popped up I jumped on it. That's the last one I saw and I believe it came from Florida because there were a couple sentry clips at a dealership in Florida from March. I have seen an AWD FS a couple times since then but very rarely. I'm not sure what incentives they were offering on the AWD as I was focused on a Beast.

still dream of this rig, even after owning one. No matter what happens, it always makes me smile. It is so fun to drive. I feel very safe in it and my aging wife and parents can get in very easy as well. No matter what people say, it is fantastic.

Same this is by far the best/funnest vehicle to drive. It never gets old. A year and half later and I still find ways to get in and drive.
