Is this just an AI query dump or do people actually write in that style now?

Title should be "Why I think" (or "What Grok says") pay per mile pricing is the right model for Tesla FSD.
I’m so tired of this AI vomit people post for engagement.

Pay per mile would be like the old cell phone days with pay per minute, also those pay to play games.

It would be good if people were responsible but may accidentally overuse leading to unexpected bill. Also, the disputes of incorrect usage amounts make it a burden.

Another example, those AI/ML token and prompt instance usages. I was trying to learn AWS and accidentally left a process running and the bill ran to $350. Luckily, I told Amazon it was unintentional, and they disregarded it.

Plenty of people (including me, actually) agree. But Tesla is eliminating the $8,000 one-time purchase option on February 14. From then on, FSD will only be available via a $99/monthly subscription. See this thread.

So the issue here is not purchase vs. subscription. It's flat-fee subscription vs. pay-per-mile subscription.
Lux package on a Cyberbeast will continue.
FSD included
I use FSD every time I get in the car. It’s so much safer. I have it on but th of my Cyberbeasts. It continues to amaze me every day. Parking is coming, as you can see in 14.2.2.3 ASS summons should be here before the April 1 meeting.
Cybertruck is learning every day.
It backs in and out of my driveway, into my garage. Picks a parking space for me, backs into a supercharger with ease. I can’t wait for unsupervised to come! It’s just around the corner. HW5 will not be available on Cybertruck until July 2027, so let’s enjoy what we have. FSD is and will always be an ASSET
It’s not a subscription.

Disagree. Elon's $1T pay package is tied to him getting 10M active FSD subscriptions, meaning he has to work to convince enough people to subscribe. What you are suggesting means Elon doesn't have to move a finger to get the $1T. Easy money.
His package has multiple criteria and stages. Some are far more likely be achieved than others.

Pay per mile. pay per Kw, what about insurance per mile? Tax per mile? I really am sick to death of these micro transactions being baked into modern commerce. "Death by a thousand cuts".
