I would actually vote for neither of your proposed options. I know many will disagree if they routinely have 3 rear passengers but that will be a rare occurrence for me and while i’d like a fridge that is inside the cabin, I wouldn’t want it blocking up the middle of the front floor, but i would want it within potential arm’s reach from the driver’s and front passenger’s seats.

So my vote would be the middle of the floor in the back seats of the cabin rather than the front if there was some way to install it so it doesn’t slide around in the back while driving on curvy roads.

Your suggestion is absolutely constructive! Most people currently want options for the center console, rear trunk, and frunk. The location you’ve proposed is a great idea, though we may not be able to meet that need right now. Hopefully, we’ll have the opportunity to address it in the future. ?

This is a tough one. I kinda like middle center console. I think most people will have smugglers bay filled with other essentials. I think my ideal is a powered one that take up 1/2 - 2/3 the frunk.

That's exactly what we're aiming for! We've also gathered many other ideas, like incorporating side doors or trays for the fridge. Regardless, thank you so much for your dedication to the CT community and for being so active on Teslaunch! ??

I'd honestly prefer the Frunk.
But for the options provided in the survey, both areas.
Both areas serve different needs.
The front center console one would be great for quick road trip snacks.
The one in the back would be better for actual camping cooling since it's a larger space.
But the Funk would be ideal. Very disappointed with the Tesla cooler. Not powered, and it doesn't even take up the entire Frunk space.

Design a cooler that fully utilizes the entire frunk space and is powered, and I'd buy that without hesitation.

Refrigerator must be the type with a heat pump. They are significantly better than the old crap "refrigerator" (actually just cooled drinks). Heat pump fridge can get close to freezer temps.

A powered frunk cyber cooler would be cool!

A powered frunk cooler, using the entire space, with switching from heated (moderate temp for traveling short distances with hot food), cooled and freeze.

Lower trunk is a horrible location. You have to have an empty bed to access it. When camping the bed will probably be full.

Best location is the frunk.

Think my vote would be either frunk or center console shaped to take the space between the driver and passenger as you have shown.
Frunk could get tricky as there is no ventilation and any powered cooler would generate heat but if it’s possible that would be great! Would need to use the power from the frunk.

Wishlist for features:
1) fridge/freezer compartments with dual temp zones. Can alter temp set point to have fridge-fridge or Freezer-Fridge
2) Portable. Depending on its size may need a sturdy carry handle and wheels to drag.
3) bluetooth connectivity to phone to change settings/temp
4) onboard battery to run for a shorttime without a powered connection. Could also be used a powerbank to charge other devices like phones/tablets. When connected powers the cooler and charges battery simultaneously.
5) Cyberlike design to match vehicle aesthetic.
