OOPS. Lightbars are Illegal lots of places.

Even Tesla's installation guide requires the installers to install "black-out tape" to the light so that it doesn't shine and the guide specifically bars any Tesla employee from removing the tape.

So... I mean, I still want the light... But not taped... I wonder if black-out window tint would be "good enough".

Tesla could have made a lightbar with a built-in cover... That would have made it legal in pretty much every state. Gotta get the truck before worrying about these kind of things I suppose...

What if the default lighting of the lightbar is 3 amber clearance lights? Those aren't illegal anywhere.

We've got stainless steel w/ matte black powder coat light bar brackets for the top (50" light bar or other) and bumper (40" light bar or other) in production now and will launch on the site next week, and ditch light brackets the week after. They will work with Baja Designs or any other brand of lights.
