Towing with FSD

Tryed to post a short clip of this but they seem to be to long. However I did get the clips on X. JIM@3Y3QoF1. Looking for someone to verify. Seems to give no warnings for attention, just cuts off FSD.

FSD is disabled in tow mode.

Assuming one is pulling something without tow mode (!!?!) then I suppose FSD might engage but get cranky about the obscured rear camera.

It shows the trailer icon when i plug the trailer in. Im assuming that means its in tow mode and when i turn on FSD, the steering wheel icon turns blue. I made sure to get both in the clip.

Sorry its no longer a FSD icon. It just shows Self Driving in blue now.

When I plug in the pontoon and the enclosed trailer, it pops up a tow break menu that won't let me use FSD. Maybe becouse they both have the big plug-ins or becouse they both have trailer breaks. But with the utility trailer, it works fine. Despite what I got on it.

Even with a trailer plugged in you can turn off trailer mode to use FSD provided the cameras are not occluded.

As it should. Fsd is not designed to tow with yet. My FsD freaks out even with a small utility trailer.

Recently while dragging our dirt road, my CT went into tow mode with a note that due to a heavy load tow mode was engaged. The 7-pin plug was not being used. When I pull my box trailer, as soon as I plug it in, the truck goes into tow mode. So it appears the CT will use at least one of two different criteria to automatically engage tow mode.
