My grandfather always used to complain about the neighborhood cats jumping on the hood of his cars and leaving tracks. Ever have that problem with the D?
My grandfather died peacefully in his sleep. The passengers in the car died screaming, however.

We don't have that problem in my neighbor. We do have the occasional Coyote cruising through at night. o_O

WD-40 does an excellent job cleaning stainless steel appliances.

Does the local coyote use Acme products in malevolent ways that might cause harm to your future CT?

As mentioned before, I just use a damp microfiber cloth to wipe down the stainless panels. Sometimes you have to wipe a couple times to get fingerprints off.

No big deal and no cleaners, chemicals, or polishes required.

Sorry not enough poll options for me to narrow down to exactly how I identify with the question.

DeLorean stainless panels can be repaired, but it's a different process than for traditional cars. You'd be better off at a machine shop than a body shop, lol. DMC Houston has done many stainless repairs for me.

It's easy to cleanup scratches and scuffs on the DeLorean since it already has a horizontal grain. On an untextured surface like the CT, I'm not sure how you'll be able to make it blend?
IIRC CT has a nondirectional finish that is supposedly easy to DIY

Well, I guess that makes sense. It's performance per Road & Track's December 1981 review is "...a 0-60 mph time of 10.5 seconds and a quarter-mile performance of 17.9 sec at 76.5 mph." That might not be much of a magnet...
