Huh thats interesting, especially seeing the R1T does not have a bed cover or particularly good looking rear aero.
Yes, actually it does. It's just that there are apparently some bugs with it at the moment.

But with your aero frontal area are you including the area under the vehicle in your calculation? Your vehicle height is from the ground? Because the CT might be only some 1750mm with the air suspension all the way down for hwy cruise. I can measure up the actual surface area of both if you want in CAD.
I just took (in both cases) h x w. I don't know how the suspension is set when Cd is calculated nor when the dynamometer polynomial runs are made. Obviously anyone is free to apply any English he wants in calculating drag load for estimates.

Ok. I haven't been paying to much attention to other manufacturers lately since I travelled to Germany. Been too busy. But even with a bed cover the straight cut down behind the cab has got to generate some turbulent flow over the bed cover. I'm a bit sceptical about the 0.30 to be honest.

Um yeah I suppose. But it does effect battery size calculations substantially if you trim out the extra area from the aero calcs. Enough to make a 200kWh TM pack possible. :)

Absolutely. While Rvians Cd number is more real than Tesla's at this point there is still lots of uncertainty facing us when we try to come up with an estimate.
