Same here. Although ordered Beast so realistically not expecting any notice till June or later but miracles can happen.
I kind of wanted a cyber beast but I didn’t wanna give up the range and adding a light bar was it justifiable for the extra 20,000. Plus, I’d probably only launch it a couple of times, and then never again.

Seen several beast deliveries here in NV, most in Vegas

Welcome Nevada'ns. I am a year late here, but hopefully you have your trucks now also. I think we have one of the bigger holes in charger coverage for the whole USA, but that is about the same for our mobile phone network. Rumors of the Ely station running, but I can not confirm this yet. If it is, then that leaves the Vegas - Tonopah - Ely triangle without coverage, which actually is my playground. Not sure if I can make it from Tonopah to Ely in 1 charge, unless I drive <70, but who would do that? ))). That gap leaves no capacity for off-road driving.

I did drive Reno - Salt Lake City, and of course the I80 has plenty of places to charge from. But it might be a while before we can get to the hinterlands, particularly if towing quads, or otherwise.

At any rate, I will check in from time-to-time and try to confirm chargers that I find. As of now, the Tonopah charger is great, but everyone knows that. There, the A&W is across the street, the Mizpah hotel diner next door is better and they will serve you at the bar, which I recommend. Down the street is a decent Mexican restaurant.

Still a total lack of chargers in central Nevda. Ely is open, and working. Tonopah is good, as is Hawthorne, but these 150 kw chargers work there way down to 50 kw as other users show up.

I put a home charger at a farmer's barn in dead-center Nevada, so I can cruise there, but that is 48 amps, so about 10% an hour charging. I also have a diesel generator in a nearby location.

Travel to and through Death Valley worked - the two hotels have destination chargers. There are some PlugShare chargers around, but their service seems to be dicey.

Tonopah-Ely works on one charge, but Las Vegas - Ely is dicey, unless you re-route to Utah/St George.

Based on Tesla Station criteria, it might be never before fun places can be reached easily, as the priority is commuters and not tourists.

Make sure you are voting for a new Supercharging location. https://www.tesla.com/supercharger-voting/overview

Have you done this drive? I’m fairly confident I cannot make it in my rig. I voted for Carson City which is a crime that they don’t have one there I don’t understand. And while they put one IN Ely; coming from Vegas the problem is I have no non-dicey way to get TO Ely!

Yup, the only plausible route is to take a detour to Cedar City, UT which in effect doubles the drive time.

Traveling on 50 is also tough. I did manage once from Incline to Ely, charging at Cold Springs Station and Austin but it was iffy with CCS broken at times.

Which is an absolute nonstarter. It’s crazy and even ABRP (a better route planner) can’t come up with an option using third-party chargers.
