I have the original Tesla charger I think and I was disappointed to see I only get about 27 miles per hour when I charge at home. You can see its getting 48 amps at 220 volts.

is this normal? Do I need the new Tesla charger?

Sounds rite. The Cybertruck uses around 50% more energy per mile than the Tesla sedans, so even at the same wattage it will gain slower miles.

Getting 27m from 11kW works out to around 400W/mile.

No it’s all good. Miles is a tricky view. I only use power. My phone is not set to how many minutes of battery it has left or when plugged in how many minutes per hour it gets. You are getting the full power your electric circuit provides - 240v times 48a = 11.5kW. If you continue to look at miles and compare with other Teslas you have to take into account the efficiency of that vehicle. Cause heavier cars need more juice to go the same mile. Clearly CT is not at efficient as a Model Y. So while both are going to charge at 11.5kW the stated miles you get for the CT will be lower for that equal amount of stored power.

Im charging mine as I type and Im getting 26 mi/hr. I dont thin its the charger as my 2022 Model S and my 2023 Model 3 get 44 miles on the same 2 wall connectors

My quote from Smart Charge America states that I should be expecting a charging rate of 27 miles per hour using the Universal Wall Connector. Looks to be as expected.

Nobody uses miles for distance, anyway.

Mind boggling that ppl think of charging in mi/hr. I wonder if they know how many min/hr their ? is charging
Why? We travel in miles not kWh. What's strange is to think we should change our whole concept of distance traveled in a particular type of vehicle from what we use for walking, biking, flying and everything else.

Anyone know how to change the output on Universal Wall charger like the 2019 wall charger can? My 2019 wall charger can allow for 100amp input and out by turning the dial inside. I've installed my 2019 version and have 100amp breakers feeding it and set output at 80% which is awesome but my Universal only gives me 40amp output and has also 100amp feeding it.

You are conflating miles with KwHs... Of course the CT will charge "fewer miles per hour" than your model 3. Your M3 goes a lot farther for 1KwH of charge than your CT.

If you gave each vehicle 1 KwH per hour (super slow charging, right?)
Each hour,

Your M3 would "charge 3.8 miles"
Your CT would "charge 2.2 miles"
If you use "Miles per Hour" as your "charging rate", the CT will ALWAYS charge slower.
If you use "Kw per hour" as your charging rate, they charge the same rate which is tied to your circuit capabilities or some other restriction you have set.

The 2 vehicles (your 2 vehicles) are charging at the exact same rate.

Unfortunately, they will not utilize their stored electricity at the same rate as each other.

The UWC is rated for 48A max.

crap, then is there a wall charger I could get that allows for more amperage? Like my old one? Or the new version Wall Charger (non universal) one allow for more amperage?
The Cybertruck onboard PCS is limited to 48A anyway (as are all Teslas for many years now).
