Hello fellow CT owners in PA,

I am hoping to get some answers regarding the windshield tint in PA.

1. Anyone in PA got their windshield tinted? If so, any problems with the popo?

2. For those that did get it tinted, what was done regarding the inspection sticker that PA requires to have? Was the tint overlapping it or cut around it?

3. If the tint was cut around it, what happens the next time the car gets inspected? Ask the inspector to line up the sticker with the cut out?

Let me know! 😀

I got mine done at ACAP in malvern. didnt want to deal with the possibility of having to remove the enormous piece of tint for the front, so I went with the legal limit of 70 vlt. most important reason to get tint anyway is for UV and they all have the same UV blocking regardless of vlt. it makes a huge difference in temp

taking. chance with the front windows - they now match the rear so I think they are like 25 vlt and the rears are like 50 vlt since theyre already tinted.

when I took mine to ACAP they gently took off my origibal inspection sticker and pit it back on after they tinted.

Thank you! I might ask my local tint shop to see if they would gently peel off the sticker and then tint and reapply after! If not, I might hit up the place you took yours to! It's about an hour drive for me but that won't be bad because it'll give me an excuse to drive the CT long haha! I was going to have the fronts match the rears and take a chance as well and I think I might go your route and go with 70% on the windshield to help with the heat on summer days! 😀

I've not had any problems with cops yet. I am curious how it will be when I get it inspected. I asked for tint on the front windshield and saw in PA you're allowed 70%. Gonna ask the tint shop to recommend a place for inspection so they don't give me trouble.
