OP here... after long debate and deliberation I failed at overcoming the lib wife's opinion on the best EV... BUT silver lining is we went EV! She is rolling in the Ford Mustang Mach E, and I will say as a die hard Tesla guy it is inferior to our product... but got her off the gas and it is a very capable and cool ev.... The Mach E has some kindergarten features compared to my cybertruck and is a good entry point for ev to our family! I am happy with the vehicle... it will serve its roll ... thank you all for your opinions and comments

Hope you got a good deal on the “mustang” because they are going to for a good discount right now. I think it will be a good first EV because of the familiar ICE style dash. A tesla can be jarring to some with the lack of buttons and screen in front of them. Good luck man

Well…… there is definitely nobody here who’s buying her now.
Sorry that didn’t go your way but the mustang is a pretty sweet car too. Just doesn’t drive itself and makes funny vroom vroom noises.

Your wife was just on the Yougo forum the other day asking people why her husband didn't want to own one.

It has a powerful 1.1 L engine. Spare tire is easy to get to.

He only have to worry about 2 doors.
But did recommend getting the model with a rear window defogger for it's the best way to keep hands warm while pushing.

I remember when I was kid in NJ my father made a joke that one of the dealers was throwing in a free Yugo (brand new) if you bought one of their mainline vehicles (think it was Chevy or Cadillac) lol
