I have a few days to decide and want to know if it’s worth it.

I subscribed for the windshield plan. I don't think it's a horrible price. I had to scheduled a service visit to get it inspected so I had the add the extra slat on the tonneau while i was there. It won't cover the window tint which is kind of to be expected. I have a chip in the glass from before and they didn't say anything about it. Will see about getting it repaired here soon before it gets too cold. Hopefully the process is smooth. Before it was annoying that I would have to pay out of pocket and then have to be reimbursed. I hope this negates that process.

I’m on my 2nd windshield and at $2300 to replace, the plan is well worth it. Especially if you do a lot of hwy driving like I do with semi trucks all over the road.

I did both. Love it, especially with the OEM Lightbar as Tesla will have to take that off when they replace my windshield.

Any other thoughts on this? Using simple math I'd break even if my windshield cracks in 5.5 years. I've had a few chips in other windshields, only 1 crack. I won't be driving more than 5000 miles a year.

My insurance covers it under comprehensive which is at $500 now. So I think the question is will using that bump my rates?

I've only seen a few replacement reports here (seemed early production had more issues) but I'm not sure how good our glass is now.

$35 sounds cheap but over time it adds up...
