This leads me to believe they are getting ready to start a large campaign to push legislation to the finish line. This could also be a great link to send to your skeptic friends and family.

For sure.

Anyone who truly understands the priorities built into the culture of Tesla knows they would not push FSD Unsupervised if they knew it would increase deaths and injuries.

Awesome to see. I'd like to know how many I have driven on FSD as well. I don't use nowhere near as much as a lot of you here but I will use it relatively often.

The FAQs in this report are super interesting as well. Here's one:

"Tesla designed its vehicles to maximize connectivity and capability. We use remote telemetry to learn from the vehicle fleet to inform a variety of engineering decisions, including being notified about safety-critical events (such as major or minor collisions). In contrast, vehicle manufacturers, whose vehicles are less connected, largely do not receive vehicle data when a collision occurs that involves one of their vehicles unless or until a customer tells them or sues them.

The consequence of the SGO’s reporting scheme suggests higher absolute collisions among Tesla vehicles than for every vehicle manufacturer combined; however, the reality is that Tesla reports more collisions simply because we have a large, active and fully connected customer vehicle fleet."

Correct! Not a single entity on planet earth has as much accurate data about real world driving than Tesla. The next closest competition isn't even remotely close lol.

I suspect we will see a push to separate FSD from non-FSD insurance markets as well.

And that's why it's utterly ridiculous when government entities open a safety investigation into Tesla. I'm normally all for the government keeping bad actors in line, and exposing companies that take shortcuts to make a buck, but Tesla knows if their technology is not saving lives and reducing pain and suffering it has no value (negative value actually). So they use their data to ensure they stay strongly on the side of creating value.

Meanwhile bloated government agencies try to act like they are in charge of keeping everyone safe. In reality, Tesla has the most comprehensive data set when it comes to determining actual safety, and regulators hardly even know how to parse it. By the time they figure it out, Tesla is already 3 steps ahead (meaning about a year or two).

That's another Tesla running that red light at 0:26 right? Boom, immortalized, lol.

One that clearly wasn't operating FSD 😉
