Well, I wish I would’ve started this post yesterday, but never late than ever…
We started at Jenkins Lake with Tesla Latino last night camped out had some good Korean teriyaki and tequila. 430 wake up call to get to the Pollak Pines supercharger and bring it back to 100%.
Normally the road to get to the trailhead should take about an hour, but because we were trying to conserve energy, it took us an hour and a half hour and 45 minutes. There was about 20 jeeps ready to roll the trail. We got prepped and RAFA helped us set up the starlink.
rerolled on Trail at 10:30 and made it through the gatekeeper, which is no joke. You should never attempt this by yourself without recovery vehicles, and a full armor package. At the end of it, we lost the first tie rod on the driver side and broke the swaybar link..
One hour later, we’re back now on Trail.
current battle scars: lost drivers inner tie rod and sway bar end link, Front bumper, vent driver, side, rear control, arm, skid plate, gone passenger side, rear skid plate, damaged under body armor, taking a beating but still intact, rear bumper, swing away tire Carrier bent (we took off the swings to shorten truck) sliders, well used plastic fenders all loose. Good times indeed.
If you’re on X I am live streaming this to our channel most of the time.
