I’m thinking it’s more for a camping/stationary setup and not while moving.

Nice idea using the roof mount. I was thinking mounting the same way. I would need to fabricate a better bracket, so it flows with the shape of the truck and looks like it was made for it. and it needs to be able to be in use while driving otherwise what's the use of having it
