2025 Holiday Software Update now live (and installing on Cybertrucks)!

3hr drive with it. Can’t say I notice much difference other than I had 3 nags which I didn’t have a single one last update. Still indecisive on freeway lane changes. Missed an exit because of this. Photo Booth worked great the 5 min we played with it. Love that my truck is better today than the...

Cooler or electric fridge / freezer?

Definitely think about your needs. I went with a portable fridge/cooler that fits on the floor of my backseat and plugs into the back. Works great, as long as I don’t bring my family anywhere. I don’t take big trips often and the next time I do, I will probably just put it in the bed. The center...

2025 Holiday Software Update now live (and installing on Cybertrucks)!

Installing now, couple hour trip once it’s done. Above all, I hope the mapping gets fixed. Mine became awful, mapping me every way but the direct route. Wouldn’t mind the indecisiveness to improve including freeway lane changes. Just nitpicking, can’t live without FSD anymore.

At a hotel, un-patiently waiting for mine to finish so we can head home.

FSD 14.2.1 (Update 2025.38.9.6) Rolling Out

Google Maps has it correctly, for some strange reason the Tesla app shows it split down my driveway. It's no big deal for me. What caught us onto it was that it kept turning the Sentry on in my wife's MY when we have it turned off while at home.

FSD 14.2.1 (Update 2025.38.9.6) Rolling Out

When it's parked at your house and or neighbors, check your phone app to see what the location of your truck is. Oddly for me, I have a 3 car garage, and if I park in front of the garage to the far right, it shows on my phone app that I am at my neighbors address. If I literally move over, 1 car...

Front license plate camera glass getting worn from road stuff - any replacement or protection options?

Ordered some from Amazon as well, sounds like they can fog up or get water inside. Figured I will try to mitigate or deal with that issue rather than spend another $265.

Front license plate camera glass getting worn from road stuff - any replacement or protection options?

Just spent $265 and a day at the service center getting mine replaced. Shattered from road debris.

Driver side knee airbag false deployment

While I don’t disagree, I doubt any other US or otherwise car maker is any less guilty of the same or similar. It’s all about the $$ except Tesla has Elon, which he brings along the political aspect whether you like it or not.

Driver side knee airbag false deployment

I’d imagine even if out of warranty. No car company wants to accidentally injure someone through normal use. Airbags can cause some serious injuries in situations like this.

FSD V14.1 released in 2025.32.8.5 Update! Likely coming to Cybertruck by end of October (says Ashok)

I’ve now driven all Teslas including the plaids except the Beast and I can hands down say the CT is the best of the bunch by a lot. The X plaid has been fun but I’m ready for my CT back (getting a new passenger seat due to a faulty sensor). If money weren’t an issue my order of preference would...

FSD V14.1 released in 2025.32.8.5 Update! Likely coming to Cybertruck by end of October (says Ashok)

Been driving a loaner 25’ X for about a week. After the first day it got 14.1.3 so I’ve been driving with it for almost a week. I’m no influencer and only been a Tesla owner for a couple months. My wife got a 26 Y and I got the CT. I’d say the 14.1.3 is much better on the freeway for sure, at...

How often do you use FSD?

97% and I find it does better with more cars around than none at all.

So what's the consensus on tinting?

I went from 50 to 75 due to issues of waviness in the windshield glass itself causing double vision. 50 is 100% better than 75. It all but eliminated the need for sunglasses and I didn’t notice any difficulties at night. Hands down I’d go with 50ish if I could.

Last foundation series Canada - Frunk panel gaps - about to take delivery

They are definitely a bit wider than mine but I have panel issues elsewhere. My thoughts are that I have yet to hear of someone getting a ā€œperfectā€ body CT so it’s a complete personal choice at this point. From what I’ve read online the newer the CT the less minor issues. Having no idea how hard...

    FSD and Railroad Crossing

Agreed on the Supervised part. Seems like every hit piece I see or read is from someone not paying attention. Try crossing a RR while reaching for your sunglasses or not paying attention in a non FSD vehicle. The jump from Supervised to Unsupervised is going to be quite the leap. There will...

Any Recommendations of Center Hubcaps for Core Wheels with AS Tires?

I have the same gear ones as you. So far they are my favorites although I did see someone 3d printed some SpaceX ones that looked pretty nice. I too would like to see more options and kind of a fun way to periodically change the look.
