I have this setup at my house in Canada, attached to a 50amp panel through a transfer switch. Used it for the first time last week during an outage - we have a 2x200amp service for the house, so only able to run a portion - but worked like a charm! Had most of our lights, TV's, internet, fridges and heat/hot water, and after almost 3hrs only used approx 5% of battery!Have you tried that? Technically, you need a transfer switch to connect ct 240v outlet, just like a generator. I don't think you can find a pre-made male to male 14-50 cable.
Cost me about 3k for full install (including cable), but far cheaper than the 9k they quoted me for PowerShare.
