How confident is that May shipping date? I have road trip plans coming up that this would be useful for.

The first batch is shipping around May 5th - our earliest dozens of orders will make this shipment. Other orders will follow in about 1-2 weeks.

As a family on the road with 2 kids, including one that requires chilled/frozen/warmed breast milk, this would be an interesting addition to the family. Looking forward to reviews before buying!

$700?!? Holy shit batman. Cyber tax much?
A buddy just got this dometic for his f150 since it was on sale.

Also for that price it better be 48v. Nothing special about this 120v mini fridge other than the shape.

It's important to note there are significant differences between our product and the model you referenced: Firstly, the capacity specifications are entirely different. Secondly, the product you mentioned doesn't specify ice-making functionality on its product page and occupies the entire center console storage space. Additionally, installation requires drilling. Given this product was priced at $400 three years ago, we believe this comparison isn't objective.

@Cybergear, Can you share the dimensions of this, specifically the height. Need to know how much room is left with a lowered screen and storage underneath.

So, I was one of the first to order this thing or so I thought (I did get the super duper early bird $649 price) and still nothing. What happened to May 5th or 1-2 weeks thereafter?
Anyone here received this fridge?
Looks like several other vendors specifically those that were also offering gift incentives for early orders are already shipping them out. What gives?

Messaged them as well. Now they’re saying June for the super early bird

Same boat as you. Ordered April 20th.

Reached out in email on 5/15 about the status of the order, was told unpredictable import duties caused a shipping delay, but that it would be delivered by the end of may.

Toward the last week of may, asked about shipping information on one of cybergears facebook advertisements, was told that the first batch should go out this month (May), but that everyone with a preorder would get a delivery estimate by 6/10.

If I don't get anything concrete by 6/10, I'm gonna cancel my order and just stick with the current solution I'm running now.

It’s the same old song and dance with all these vendors it seems like. I’m tired of sending them my money.
I’m still waiting on a radio controlled truck I ordered from tesstudio for my son’s birthday on march 5th. Needless to say the birthday has come and gone. They keep telling me they have shipped it and sending me different tracking numbers for one of those shady Chinese tracking websites which says absolutely nothing.
Do you guys think it’s reasonable to request a credit card chargeback after 4 months of waiting? I think that’s my next move.
Caveat Emptor, none of these vendors are reliable.
Hopefully someone from cybergear has the decency to respond to this thread but even if they promise me it will be at my house tomorrow, it’s probably bullshit.
Sorry admins, I know it’s verboten to trash site sponsors on this site but they repeatedly fuck us over and don’t deliver on promises they make after taking our money.
The arrangement as I understood it was not “I’ll send you $650 and then you can assess the shipping and tariff situation and send me the product when it’s financially favorable for you at a later ill defined point in time, take your time, no rush”

addendum (end of June): after communicating with @Cybergear, they sent the product as promised at the later date and apologized for not communicating the shipping delay.
they sent a small free gift because of this.
As compared to the other similar vendors I have dealt with, they did seem to take more responsibility and were interested in getting the product to me in a timely manner.

Complete disclosure, cybergear reached out to me and asked me to delete the above post. They apologized for the bad experience and offered to make the situation right by sending me a free gift. They promised they would provide a tracking number by June 6th.
I agreed to delete the post when I received the fridge as promised. I made the point that I’m not trying to be a bully or hurt sales but that the least they could have done was send a message or email saying they decided to delay the agreed upon shipment because the tariff or shipping situation was not favorable.
There is no reason we all needed to desperately claw for information to find this out. No matter how competitive they say the “super early bird price” was, the reality is we all paid a premium to have this accessory before others did in much the same way we paid a premium for a FS truck and that didn’t happen as evidenced by the above posted video.
l am posting this update because I don’t want to be shady and delete the post without explaining why. I do plan to do that if they are true to their word this time.

I don't think you said anything wrong. Honestly, I'm pretty sure you said what a lot of us ordering 3rd party cybertruck stuff through various online vendors have been feeling lately.

This is my third order from an online vender (The other two were other sellers, not cybergear) and the previous two took more than double the time promised and the quality was trash on both of them.

I realize a lot of this stuff is really glorified drop shipping from china, but you really should have the product in hand or at least in a warehouse (overseas or here) ready to go when you announce shipping times. Like I said, I'm hoping by the 10th I get a concrete shipping date given to me or I'm going to ask for a refund. If denied, I'll file a chargeback.

However, when the 10th comes around and I got a shipping notification and the quality is as promised, I'll gladly post an update saying the product was worth the wait and delivered.
