I just had a tent installed at a SC while getting some other work done. I don't know if anything is different than last year's tent but it seems to work well. I'm happy the top piece no longer needs the screws and instead can come out by hand.

I didn't bother asking because I'm close and can easily come back if there was a problem. But I suspect I could have done it there. But it was much easier to practice it in my own driveway. I don't think they fully put it together to test it but I think they at least opened the floor to make sure the L track lined up.

If you got this installed, could you please tell me how many inches of beds pace the tent takes up when closed? I am wondering if I will still be able to put mountain bikes in tail gate and transport using tail gate pad. Could you send a picture of how it looks closed? Thank you.

I think there is 40 inches between the tent and the tailgate
