Started to install the CT bumper covers that I bought from Tesla and I’m underwhelmed so far.

First, the roller fell apart about 10 seconds after I started using it. The covers themselves look as washed-out/faded as the bumpers my old Accord after 15 years. Hopefully protectant will improve that.

It’s not an edge-to-edge fit no matter how much I try to stretch it. And on a couple of the pieces, the adhesive is wider than the edge of the cover.

Anyone with tips/tricks to making these look good?

The roller is a POS. The pieces themselves are fine. I was worried when I saw they were grey but they come out black and you barely notice them one they’re on and get sun/washed. Just take your time on the application.

My roller fell apart too, total piece of crap.

I did the install, but at the time at least, they didn't have the option for the lip, so developed an Xpel Armor option for that. Next job will be the rear bumper, so I can replace the Tesla solution. For some reason it looked WAY different in their rendered image than IRL.
