Hello!

I am looking for a 5 bike hitch rack for my Cybertruck. We currently have a Thule and only fits 4.... See photo.... Any thoughts on vertical racks? Will it be way too high in comparison to the sloped back? Thinking this... VelociRAX 5 MAX Thanks for any input... I can't seem to find a photo with one!

I don't. BUT,,,,, not to be that guy you just really exceeded the weight of that hitch. Yes. I know..check it out. It states that exact setup, tops, 150 lbs. I use my racks, and run a rachet strap from the bike carrier to the rack. Seems to help. Just a suggestion. Maybe look into it. Personally I think it isn't an issue but wow did all that crap make headlines for a while.

Dang yeah, I forgot about the vertical hitch weight rating. Lame. It’s 89lbs for the rack alone.

Both hitch weight and how far it extends out from the vehicle are things to keep in mind...as they would with any vehicle.

The VelociRax keeps the weight pretty close to the bed, much better than the flat racks.

Thanks! But yeah... At 80+ lbs and 50 + inches vertical and 5 bikes... That would far exceed the 160lb rating for CT it sounds like?

I think the question for any bike rack...how can you make it compatible with the rear camera. Any way to shut off the rear camera and still get FSD?

Has anyone tried to break down the impact of vertical vs horizontal distance from hitch pin to center of gravity of the payload? I ask because Velocirax specs show the vertical beam of the velocirax is horizontally only 13.4 inches from the hitch pin.
The vertical beam is indeed 50+ inches high, but it’s horizontally closer to the hitch pin than the motorcycle and 4-bike rack example on the Tesla website, I wonder what the max load is for a vertical rack like velocirax is.
